I was going to post something about letting my friend drive my mom's car at 100 mph while I laid on top if the roof holding onto the roof rack like it was the luge. But in light of Ace's post, it wasn't shit.

But it was one of the stupidest things I have ever done and gives me chills to this day thinking about all that could have gone wrong.

Nah. None of that stuff was really that bad. If you're prepared nothing is too dangerous. I've scaled back in my old age, though. I haven't played rugby in ten years and I haven't climbed since 1997. My dog has nipped at a couple people but the most pain she's caused me is to jump up on me and hitting me in the nuts with her paw. And people are easy as long as they're treated with respect.

But riding on your mom's car?

Even though I hear all the time that I, "look like a biker", I don't ride because it is inherently dangerous. All the guys I know that ride say that it's not a matter of IF, but WHEN you go down. Maybe that makes me a pussy but I value not dying or being maimed in a crash that's apparently inevitable. One of my bro-in-laws hit a fucking deer one night on his chopper and almost lost a leg. Took him over a year of rehab to walk and he's still not 100%, and that was probably ten years ago. You got more sac than I do.
