LittleBigPlanet has been delayed indefinitely

The game is in the backrooms of stores everywhere, and its getting shipped right back to sony. Littlebigplanet has been recalled by sony because it has been noticed that one of the liscensed songs on the games soundtrack includes phrases from the Quran, and Muslims could be offended by the use of their holy book's words in a video game.

So yeah...this sucks balls. Right now im trying to find a website still selling its copies, and I'll be hitting up the 24 hour stores as soon as it becomes the 21st, hopefully they'll still sell them. GameStop and EB Games are already going out of their way to make sure their games arent sold to anybody.

are you serious? They're delaying the game because the music may offend a few people? What a crock of ****!

I don't have a PS3 but if I did I'd definantly be picking this game up. It looks like tons of fun, plus I saw a G4 special on the level creator. A very truly unlimited level creator. I hope it ports to the 360 at some point in the future. So anyway, if I had a PS3 I'd be more pissed. But I'm an advocate for being eliminating censorship, and this wreaks of censorship!

It will never be ported to 360 unless Sony becomes a third party developer. The game is made by Sony. I remember a game for Xbox name Kakto Chojin (probably spelled wrong) was released and then eventually recalled because to music in the game that was Muslim related. Of course it happened around the time of 9/11.

i'd hardly call a week "indefinite".

Anyone else reminded of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time when it was first released? The game had a crescent moon and star symbol on all the switches and movable blocks, and the Fire Temple music had some chanting that many claimed sounded like a Muslim chant. Both of these aspects were changed for later releases (I think you can only find them on the gold Collector's Edition cartridge on the N64).

I actually managed to snag a copy. I ordered one on Friday from Newegg.com with overnight delivary and got it yesterday. Now though, newegg has the game listed as 'sold out' until the 28th. Most places list the new release date as Nov. 11.
