I'm only saying in my experience in the USA, more often than not, when a black guy attacks or starts shit with a
white guy race is a strong factor if not the sole reason

Forget about the NFL. Anyone, anywhere in any capacity should be trying to determine if an intervention is necessary anytime anyone displays a total lack of control over their emotions and anger.

MoCee is where he's at because he's fucking stupid. This guy could have legitimate psychological issues which require intervention. If this guy needs intervention and doesn't get it he will be where MoCee is because he's sick.

I agree the NFL may not be the most important thing right now ,but it may be the ONLY thing(outside a judge/incarceration) that could help Blount if he is sick.

Blount would scoff at you or anyone who even suggests that he may be mentally ill & would probably alienate any friends or family who pester him about pyschological treatment. Most people like him don't get the help they need until its almost too late(jail).

BUT the fact that the NFL is probably a lifelong dream of his if they insist on evaluations before he can play I know he would submit to treatment.Otherwise no one else could probably get this guy the help he needs outside court intervention. He probably thinks 'everyone' loses their temper occasionally & people are overreacting to what he did.

Most people who are mentally ill usualy don't seek help & I doubt if a 'macho' Football star would without him seeing his dream of being a Professional slipping away from him.

Whether you want to admit it or not blacks do have a very distinct dialect/accent in the USA.

The guy from Boise deserved to get punched. He went up and smacked Blount on the shoulder pads and taunted him.

Now, just because he deserved to get knocked on his ass, dosent mean it was the right thing for Blount to do. I think he should have been suspended because you obviously cant knock people no matter how much then deserved and you cant try and go after the fans.

I dont think he should have been suspended for the whole season though.

The whole thing with the audience was almost worse. The crowd was taunting and threatening him, shouting ****** and one even has a chair up and ready to throw.
But no one wants to talk about it that way because it's just easier to have a 10 second clip of some black kid going crazy because ESPN's audience is mostly racist old men.

Well a couple Boise State fans should not be allowed to return to that stadium, but Legarrette Blount had absolutely no business engaging them or going near them as he did. He obviously appears to be threatened with a chair,is taking some type of verbal abuse(although what is said is unknown) & seems to be struck by a fan(as he claimed) before he really became near uncontrollable.

He does appear to be hit at the 1:39/2:00 minute mark by an enraged fan with the shades in his shirt who recoils back after he strikes Blount. That is when Blount really goes nuts, but there still is no excuse for his behavior since he shouldn't have gotten so close to the fans who were still in the bleachers.
Blount should have kept his helmet on & kept on to the lockerroom & let security handle those fans.

Certainly ESPN playing it every ten minutes & MOST(not all analyst overreacted to the punch)analyst reaction didn't help the kid.
When kellen Houston( Nebraska) 'really' sucker punched a Mizzou fan who never even saw Houston ESPN analyst seemed to think it was kind of funny.:dunno: The Mizzou fan was even knocked uncouncious & it wasn't given nearly the same reaction as the short right cross of Blount.

At the end of the day though Blount has no one to blame but hmself. Despite what may have ben said or happened to him he should have reacted differently.

Near uncontrollable? That's the line I heard over and over, and is the most irksome to me. I see Blount being bear hugged and hauled away for his own protection, and everyone assuming he was going apeshit. Show me in that clip where Blount tries to throw a punch?

Again, I frankly see no evidence of him "going nuts". The man plays football for a living. If he were "going nuts" and was really intent on hitting someone, I'm pretty sure that couch restraining him wasn't about to stop him.
And once again I take issue with your framing of this as Blount seeking out that crowd for a confrontation when clearly it was the other way around.

Exactly. Thats what I find so disgraceful about all this. Houston served a 1 game suspension for sucker punching a fan! Blount punched another play who was clearly instigating it (and I still hold he meant to punch him to his face, not a real sucker punch), and gets his fucking career ended! That is clear favoritism and sensationalism and if people can't see that then I can't make it any more clear.

This is where we simply have a difference of opinion. This was the most emotional moment of this guy's life. He had huge pressure on his shoulders before the game, then lost, got harassed and punched someone, harassed again, all while knowing he was on national TV. Anyone who tells me they would have behaved better and reacted calmly and rationally is full of shit.

I'd like to congratulate you, girk1, on being the only one to make a real, reasoned response though. Other just made snide remarks or flipped their shit and neg repped me. :rofl:
