****** LAPD arrest caught on video; Department investigating cops seen bodyslamming nurse twice during cell phone traffic stop

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating two officers who were caught on surveillance camera slamming a nurse on the ground twice — and then fist bumping afterward — during a recent traffic stop.

Del Taco's surveillance video shows the officers, both men, yanking the 5-foot-4 inch registered nurse from the open driver's seat and then slamming her on the ground to cuff her. The second time she was slammed to the ground she was handcuffed.

Jordan's lawyers said that the offense didn't warrant the officers' goon squad-style takedown.

"We have a defenseless woman in a sun dress, two fully armed police officers with training and various restraining devices that they could have used, and instead they used nothing but brute *****," one of her lawyers, Arthur Corona, told KABC.

I agree. They crossed many lines. She should not have gotten out of her car, and they had the right to arrest, and cuff her when she did...but that can easily been done without the slightest hint of *********

I don't agree with arresting her just because she was out of her vehicle.
They wanted to act the way they did. They were even happy with what they did at the end.

I hope they lose their jobs.

The cell phone laws need to be repealed.

She was not instructed to exit the vehicle, they had every right to be cautious for there safety. Anyone exiting a vehicle without instructions to do so is arrested, if they do not comply with the instructions of a police officer. This however was handled without the least bit of common sense, or regard for the law. They do deserve to loose their jobs, and the right to ever work in *************** again..they should be sued, along with the city that employs them....but they did have the right to arrest her, and cuff her, and I agree with their decision to do so, but after that, they showed their true colors, and proved their inability to function as responsible servants of the people. Yes, the cell phone laws are getting a little out of hand.

While I often side with cops on this issue, as I know quite a few, and I certainly don't Envy their jobs, I think this is pretty disgusting. Definitely an ***** of power.

Fuck tha police coming straight from the underground, think they have to authority to **** a minority. They rather see me in the pen than me and Lorenzo rolling in a benzo:)

This. Most of them are just normal people trying to do their jobs, which are inherently different and somewhat alienating to the general public, but there's always some that are just total assholes on a power trip.
