When an incident such as this occurs, the officer is immediately placed on administrative leave and the matter is turned over to state bureau of investigation and or the state attorney general. First off, an air soft *** isn't a toy, it's considered a recreational product. Yes, there is a difference. Toy guns just make sounds. Put an air soft *** up to your temple and let me know how you feel in the morning, lol. Growing up, my parents wouldn't let us play with toy guns, they said it was dangerous (and I grew up in Texas, lol.) Instead, they put me in the books. My niece and nephew are not allowed to play with any type of toy guns, their parents put them to the books. They have consoles games and PC games, but they are only allowed to play puzzle type games, no shooters. My niece loves the oddworld series

Secondly, any of these incidents are tragic but avoidable when parents take responsibility and raise their **** to not be stupid. The cop thought he was dealing with an active shooter and I guarantee that influenced his decision making.
You are an asshole who probably thinks the best way to deal with this isolated incident is to give cops a baton and a **** whistle instead of being proactive.
