kurt warner? does he or doesnt he?

does kurt warner belong in the hall of fame? if he wins the super bowl...he should get high consideration...if he wins...that's 2 super bowl wins, 3 super bowl appearances, 2 time league mvp, remember the greatest show on turf?, doesnt have all the numbers...182 passing tds, 114 int, 28,591 passing yards, not even in the top 20 in nfl qb categories...should he be considered? i think he should be...7-2 in the playoffs and 2-0 in nfc championship games

IMHO, he's already a hall-of-famer.....besides the qualifications you've already mentioned, he also holds the highest single season passing rating in history.....the only argument aginst him would be longevity, but nobody was ever as dominant over a 3 year period.
Has any other quarterback ever lead 2 different franchises to a Super Bowl?

wrong about the highest single season passing rating...that goes to peyton manning...121.1

I don't think so. He hasn't done anything remarkable. His post-St. Louis years have been FILLED WITH MEDIOCRITY except for this last month!

His story is interesting--a grocery bagger turned Super Bowl champ. But that's about all he's got. A good story....

super bowl winner, 2 super bowl apperances and 2 mvp awards

Kurt Warner is a very good quarterback, but in his 10+ year career, he has only had a few good seasons. It's just that when he has had those good seasons, his numbers were good enough to earn him MVP status. I don't feel like looking up his stats at the moment, but I know that his career record isn't that great either.

So, no...I don't believe he belongs in the Hall of Fame (at this moment).

Post-1975 -- Warner's numbers and achievements aren't spectacular. If Ben Rothlesberger wins the Super Bowl this year can he just coast into the HOF?

big ben doesnt have 2 mvp awards...and not nearly the numbers warner has...does brady? brady does have 3 rings...but not the numbers to back it up, expect that 50td season...but brady is in...winning pct and playoff winning pct

I don't feel like getting into this, but let's just say Tom Brady can retire tomorrow and he is in the Hall of Fame. Undefeated regular season...a tackle away from a 4th Super Bowl...sigh...c'mon.

how can u compare ben to warner tho? if he wins the super bowl...he's in

We can debate this IF Big Ben wins today. I have a good argument because my first point will be: Big Ben could do exactly what Kurt Warner did this season if they swapped teams. But, could Kurt Warner lead the Steelers to the Super Bowl?

if they swapped teams? could big ben throw and lead them back? warner in that steelers offense, they would do the exact same thing...run first and let the defense do what they do best...no one gave the cards a shot in hell to get to the super bowl...yes, kurt would lead the steelers to the super bowl, no doubt

Do players even give a **** about the hall of fame?

probably not

I think Marshall Faulk, and those Ram WRs had a little something more to do with Warner's greatness....The Steelers Offense is practically caveman-esque....Kurt Warner would implode as QB of the Steelers. Tom Brady didn't have the kinds of athletes that Warner has had. Brady made his WRs and RBs into Super Bowl Champs. Warner benefited from the greatness of others...:hatsoff:

brady also had a defense...cant give all the credit to the offense...same goes for the steelers...and it's like saying if he was on this team and that team, he wouldnt do that good...the bottom line is, he was on those teams...none of would of, should of, could of

Whether or not he "belongs" in the HOF,I think that if he wins the Superbowl this year he'll get in eventually. The football HOF seems to let anyone in,as opposed to the baseball HOF who has been screwing people for years.

Like who? Who has been screwed out of the MLB HOF? Just curious....

Even though I absolutely **** the Cubs,Andre Dawson and Ron Santo. They FINALLY gave Jim Rice his props after how long?
