Kids have Dreams Shattered Due to New Arizona Law

This seems totally ridiculous and a total cop out on the schools part.

thats it, its a cop out. period.
one or a few of the way too many extreme leftys in the education system is pathetically trying to make a political statement, which has failed due to its ridiculousness.
the primary victims: a group of girls who sacrificed, practiced, worked hard, played hard and achieved a goal.
now what do they have to show for it? nothing.

which is pretty typical of the lefty mentality isn't it?
why work hard and sacrifice, in the end you will just have the same as those who did nothing.

well thats not what made the country great, but that is what's destroying it as far as i can see.

just another brick in the wall of doom.

Ok. Their loss. At least they are saving gas by not taking the trip.

Now, after winning their first conference
title in 26 years, the girls are being denied the opportunity to play in the tournament due to uncertainty over how a new Arizona law that makes it a crime to be in the country illegally will be enforced -- and because the trip “would not be aligned” with the school's “beliefs and values,” Assistant Superintendent Suzan Hebson told the Chicago Tribune.

And fuck you Suzan Hebson! You're the one denying them their trip because you don't agree with a law in ANOTHER STATE. And what school nowadays really holds any beliefs and values nowadays? All the kids do is show up, sit down, act up, talk bad, breed with one another, and socialize.

Her job will most likely be done with by the end of the year.

Let the girls have their dreams. Once they get out in the real world, all hope will be lost and despair will take its place. Let them learn that life sucks on their own like the rest of us did.

I'll just never understand it.
a state has been over run, literally, by illegals and to many thats no problem.
but to ask them for ID is a crime, a human rights travesty.

its twisted, nothing less.

I have second thoughts about this new law. But my actual feeling is rage now.

Rage about an opponent of that law trying to make a point with an action so see-through and so stupid.

That school just gave the people in favor of that law some nice ammo.

Whoever was the teacher of that teacher surely has a double-facepalm moment now.

Thats ultimately what the kids really learn. Do not trust the people in power and always question orders.

So they did learn something valuable.

And I hope the school will learn they will have to pay for that decision, and not only a lot of money the kids made first place

Maybe they are worried one of girls will forget her papers and be sent to Tijuana Mexico.

Or maybe they are afraid that some of these kids might get deported back to Canada, Ireland or Europe
