That's a direct quot from that website. Okay, just went over to read that website and just got a few comments. (I need that face palm thingy here). Also I had to go dust off that Bible my mom gave me many moons ago.
Compassion, equality, inclusion, forgiveness, tolerance, peace and love. Are they really a modern day liberal's qualities? I mean, really? How is taking a man's hard earned wages to give to others compassionate? If you want to give of your own wages VOLUNTARILY, more power to you and may God bless you because that is compassionate. In fact, reading the scripture (and I'm surprised my eyes and hands didn't burn off) just wanted to add some referencs since that website gave several Bible verses, so if you got a Bible look up (that you haven't burned or used for TP yet or if you already did either one or both of that you can google it) Matthew 25: 14-30, when reading it, it sounds to me like heartless capitalism, taking away from the guy who had less to give to the guy who had more, which to a capitalist pig like myself sounds like a just reward for someone who worked harder.
I cannot and will not claim that Jesus was a Conservative. There's no need for that. If anything I'm sure He would agree with points of view from both sides. I mean, do you think he'd be pro-abortion? (Thou shall not kill, if that applies to a convicted murderer, why not to an innocent fetus?) And, of course, do you think He'd be an Enron executive? (Though I believe Jerry Fallwell could be one)
I just can't believe that site claiming that compassion, equality, inclusion, forgiveness, tolerance, peace and love were 100% liberal qualities. I mean, only liberals have those qualities? All conservatives are monsters? I'm a conservative and if you believe I lack those qualities, you really don't know me. For people who think stereotypes are wrong I can't believe that liberals don't find anything wrong with the "heartless" conservative stereotype. There is a lot of compassion on the conservative side, not the fake compassion of forcing other people to help the less fortunate. You consider yourself compassionate, you give of your own and stop sending those of us who are not rich enough to the poor house so you can assuage your guilty conscience.
That is just so wrong, not because of the Jesus is a liberal reference, but for liberals to paint themselves as the only "compassionate" ones. (facepalm)

Where do you find people who are against showing any religious displays like nativity scenes in a town square? Yup, on the side of the democrats. How about atheists? Yeah, some republicans or conservatives are atheists or just agnostics but if you dig a bit deeper atheists are mostly on the left side of the aisle. And since Jesus followed God's commandments, are liberal democrats, or commies, going to acknowledge the existence of God just like Jesus did?

I'm not trying to justify anything. I am saying that they are all a bunch of ass clowns. The left or the right, it doesn't matter. All that they care about is staying in office or getting elected to a better gig. I do not just pick a side and let them do my thinking for me. Genuine Conservatives here are open-minded, intellectually honest, think independently, are in touch with reality and they're consistent with fiscal conservatism. But unfortunately they're outnumbered by generic Conservatives on this site who are their exact contradictory opposites: NeoCons are closed-minded, intellectually dishonest, can't think independently, are out of touch with reality, assume they know everything, and are inconsistent with fiscal conservatism.
Also, Generic conservatives here don't make any sense since most posts made by NeoCons is just a bunch of dimwitted psychobabble nonsense based on lies that they get from the corporate mainstream media that's predominantly owned by NeoCons who pretend to be genuine Consevatives. Your peculiar tactic of not debating the issue at hand by obsessively posting pics of sleeping animals proves that you are out of touch with reality, closed minded, dimwitted, afraid of being enlightened, and scared to engage in an intellectual discussion or debate based on the content of the links posted to articles.
Tragically NeoCons lack the intellectual capacity to think independently that's why they're unable to analyze and grasp the complexity of the content of the links that those of us on the left, middle and right post so we can analyze, debate and discuss. I know for a fact that a few members from varying political affiliations appreciate the factual content of my posts that I back up with a variety of credible journalistic sources. NeoCons though avoid serious talk about the issues by getting all hung up on my usage of the word NeoCon, so they predictably resort to the Fox News Bill O'reilly/Sean Hannity tactic of attacking the messenger in order to prevent intellectual discussions about the important issues that really matter from taking place.
What's unhealthy about posting fact filled threads about self-righteous, holier than though pompous NEoCon boobs who dare call themselves Conservatives, when the facts posted prove that they are lying fiscal, immoral hypocrites? What is really unhealthy is your denial, fear and loathing of the facts that I and others serve on your plate. Advising that I play video games or go to church is further proof that you are afraid of being a free and independent thinker; that's why you encourage others to dumb themselves down by finding an escape from reality by dwelling in a fantasy world based on make believe, fiction, lies and a fairy tale God. Instead of dishing out terrible advice to me, you should take my advice and that is learn how to think critically and independently by analyzing links to information we serve on your dish and don't be scared to expand your mind and don't be afraid to free your mind from ignorance and lies
