No- not a good question. Each man is different, and is human. I don't think anyone is inherently good or evil. Life is a complex and strange thing, and everyone is different; where they come from, who's around them, what happens to them, biological factors...
This is nearly as old as, and just as impossible as that ridiculous "Meaning of life" question. There's no one answer for everyone.

I have to agree with hedonis Some are bad and some are good.
Man is inherently evil, but one can change into good.
There is no such thing as good or evil. Those are terms made up by mankind and used to establish rules for what is acceptable in a civiliced society (or used by the church to frighten people into following the church´s rules and believes). Of course this is my personal belief, if you ask a christian or a muslim you will probably get a completely different answer.
I agree. Our animal instinct for survival encourages us to be selfish and, due to our advanced intellect, gives us the ability to use that inclination toward evil purposes. However, that same intellect gives us the ability to recognize the error in that type of thinking and to change toward the good. The evolution of mankind is an ongoing work in progress and Homo Sapiens is just another step in the ladder. We've got a long way to go.
