As far as I am concerned no one should ever be ****** unless the members of the board vote to ban him/her. Right now it is up to a few to decide how to run the 'masses'. That is not right.

On this message board yes. this fucking place is to touchy feely (not in the good way mmm lesbians ...). People are to concerned about hurting feelings. This is mainly why I lurk on this board. If i posted half the **** I wanted to say mods would get their panties in a wad.
I guess they really want this place thrashed... if they thought they had trouble before...

As far as I'm concerned, I'm going to keep this thread alive on this Board just to remind every single Board member of the ongoing situation and that we aren't going to go away. We're not going to roll over on our backs and **** all over ourselves like puppies just because others say, "Boo!".
Picking on one person because of past mistakes is incredibly wrong and juvenile, in my eyes at least... ESPECIALLY when you can look around and see so much incredible bullshit that's being posted on this board. People 'round here make too many damned snap jugments and decisions based upon things that have happened in the past. It just needs to stop. It's building up too much bitterness, resentment, and hostility.
Let the fucking past stay where it is... dead and buried. Concentrate on the here and now.

Well, well QBall. This matter isn't up to you bud. If freeones feels since LR can't respect the board and it's managemnt and members enought to respect a ban, and keeps him gone, what will you do?
This is ridiculous now. It really is. Has no one noticed the majority of regular contributing members who actually made the board what it was dont even bother now? I was and am more than happy to play by the rules as I have been doing for ages now as 001. Dragging it out as a demonstration of power has done absolutley nothing but create dissent and resentment among the members. If the ban had been reversed the day or the day after it happened, the management would have gathered a lot of respect from everyone who comes here. The fact people are leaving does not seem to bother them in the slightest though.
I feel sorry for the interim moderator team who are stuck in between the FO management team and the rising rebellion here. FB et al are in a no win situation as they dont have the power to do anything to correct it, and they are the ones who do the leg work on the board.
This isnt even about the banning of one account any more, it has grown to something, quite frankly, stupid beyond all belief. Everyone is fully aware you can get ****** and re sign up as many times as you want, so the umming and ahhing is redundant. I have no intention of doing that, merely illustrating the point.
The people who had the power to make things right ****** up their chance when they had it. Now they are making it worse. It beggars belief. If I get unbanned or not now will make no difference as it has been left too long. Faith and respect has been lost I am sad to say. I could come back as 001 and do my best to get the regulars back and posting and make it how it was a week ago, but I doubt I have that influence with them. I could stay ****** and more will leave. It has been left too long to have a positive outcome for anyone involved.
If someone had even said "Take a week ban, 001 will be back with you in that time" everyone would have hapily accepted that, and I wouldnt have even dredged up this account to have my say. No doubt this post will be seen as the perfect reason to keep me ******, but no one seems to give two shits about the board or its members around here.
I urge the people in power here to browse through Premium Link Upgrade and see what has become of a once loyal and respectful membership to Freeones.

I found myself thinking about this subject all week while i've been at work and today i just thought to myself "Get a grip man, you don't know any of these people personally and at the end of the day it's only a message board". Now i don't know if that was the saint or the sinner talking to me but i realised he was right, i enjoy it on here and i have some good chums, but there are far more important things going on in my life that i should be worrying about than "Freedom of Speech", "Lord Raven/001" and "Mods vs Members".
Now i shall go out and have some beers with some friends, but no doubt when there is a deadly silence between us all, my mind will drift somewhere else........dammit

Y'know... you and I've been cool ever since I joined this Board way back in November, but this one time I have to voice my opinion and come out against the Moderators. There is right... and then there is WRONG.
I happen to believe that LordRaven/001 paid his penance and now should be given the opportunity to do exactly what he HAD been doing for the past several months: CONTRIBUTING TO THIS BOARD IN A POSITIVE MANNER.
All in all, it really doesn't matter in the end, does it?
As Sutty said just a little while ago... "It's just a message board." In some ways I agree with that sentiment, BUT... y'all made the biggest of mistakes up when you ****** 001. You're just too ashamed of yourselves to admit that y'all acted like cowboys going off all half-cocked when you did it.

You know qball i dont' see anything honorable that happen this last week either. I noticed a ****** member sneaked back on the board and was posting so he got the boot. He showed no repsect for anyone here by contanstly signing up with free email accounts. I was following the instructions of the boss.
I have said I'm not for keeping him ****** anymore, and we are waiting for FO to talk to us about it.
