I don't think anyone could have said that better than the way you put it m8. I am one of those established members, however I did not have a disagreement with him, although people did think at first that that was me being 001,lol!!!!! I thought of it as a serious thing to start with, but then I was able to laugh at it and joke about it and become real good friends with this guy.
If you told me all the bad stuff that he did as LR, I would say so what??? That's all in the past, it's all behind us, why bring it up again?? There's no need. People have been telling me to forget stuff that's happened earlier when I first started on here, and gradually, people have got on with me and become m8s with me as I have done with them, and I must say, 001/LR is a definite asset to this board, no doubt.
When he told me, I was a little shocked, but I was like cool, because at first, it made me wonder how he knew all these things about the board that I didnt know (think about it, he only joined back again as 001 in Feb of this year,lol!!!).
He was telling me what to do, giving me a good advice about how I should post, he was one of those who told me not to let moaners and whingers who go on about spammers get to me, and he's also made great threads like Caption This! Welshchick Gallery (the best one), Hypothetical Questions, and many more.
He may not have liked the celebratory (congratulations/birthdays) threads, but he contributed. He told me that he was allowed back as long as he didnt cause much trouble/havoc and contributed. Now what I have said in the last paragraph and this one, if that does not show to you those who don't think he has made contributions at all on this board, then I think you either need to go see a psychiatrist or get your reading glasses and look up the word in the dictionary!
Finally, I would like to end by saying that if I get neg rep for saying what I feel about a good friend and a good member of this board that I lost due to the fact because of some idiotic people out there, then fine, I dont care, go ahead, ban me if you have to, I'm just expressing my feelings, the last 2 nights have been so quiet on here and its not the same really without 001. So please, can't you just give 001/LR a chance, I would say this for any member who was in the exact same predicament.
And for those of you who think oh RKO is only 18 and stuff like that,I may be that age and probably the youngest member on here, but at least I am, IMO, somewhat a mature 18 year old and I act a little like an adult. Maybe you should (those, criticising 001/LR and voting for his ban) all take a look in the mirror and start acting like proper adults. That's all I gotta say.
