It's not about being considered adults. Most girls today give head and ass in the school toilets when they are 14 already. But beside the lucky penises, nobody else knows. Fucking does not make you an adult. But when you are really an adult you can decide whom to fuck and how and why and not to have regrets about it afterwards. As i said, most 18yo girls don't even have a clue on how to come so if they waited a bit and try to get to know themselves a bit better before pretending to be fucking machines it would be better imo.

Judging by the maturity level of most women I see in the USA I say 53 would be a good age.

Even worse than that, it hasn't been that long ago that a guy could get drafted at 18, sent off to some shithole to die and he couldn't even vote. Think about that one.

The drinking age changed when I was in college. In high school, we could buy beer at 18, wine at 19 and liquor at 21. But underage drinking wasn't a big deal back then. No one really got wound up about it.

As for 18 year olds being "immature"... some are, some aren't. I have no idea how to judge that. Still playing with dolls and G.I. Joes? Still living with mom & dad? Had a kid but have no idea how to write a check to buy diapers... and don't have a job? I guess a lot of things indicate maturity. But I can see a lot of people, well over the age of 18, being pulled into the immature category, depending on how you measure it. :dunno:

For sure I know kids that are younger than my 30 y/o friends and have far more of their lives together. Can't deny that. I had more ambition to start a business when I was 24 than I do now.

Well, pretty much everyone. Some of it is overt and some of it not so much. Heck, I can just look to Canada and I can see enough hate enough of the USA if I really want to (there it's only because they can get away with and they know it).

We've earned some of it for sure but some of it people across the globe have to realize is that the majority of us Yanks never asked to be "world leader."

We could, I suppose, leave the rest of the world to deal with its own problem (Rwanda and Bosnia come to mind) but again, like Obama and Lybia we are pretty much expected (whether or not the punk ass rest of the world wants to admit it, because let's admit it, EVERY country want us to take charge so we spend more of our middle-class $$$ for foreign affairs than any nation on earth).

Personally I don't think we, the average people, control the media and who they pedal as their child. I was a student on a university campus when the Ron Paul Revolution took place and to see the way it played out in the MSM was down right disgusting.
