Iraqi Christians Savagely Attacked by Islamofascists...Again.

Oh dear.

The state of Iraq's christian population (half of the 800,000 have left in the last 7 years) wouldn't be what it is if it weren't if it wasn't for a handful of devout christian leaders attacking Iraq and completely destabalizing it. That sad irony seems to be lost on the OP.

To the OP- did you support the attack on Iraq? If so, you're as culpable as the muslims actually carrying out the violence against the Christians.

Are you insane?

the truth is no, not you.
no one specifically.

its just simple, a terrorist group killed a bunch of christians.
this stuff is so common over there its not even news worthy anymore, i understand that.
what i dont understand is anyone starting a debate or arguement over it.
:confused::1orglaugh:confused::1orglaugh

If you get that then why on earth are you rabbling the people who are say that instead of the person who is claiming it's some conspiracy?

The OP started the thread with a premise others disagreed with the premise on grounds you agree with right?? Asking why it's being debated when you agree with the counterpoint and have posted multiple times in the thread yourself makes far less sense than the debate.

BTW, it's not that it's not newsworthy as it is...otherwise the OP wouldn't know about it and have a news link to post here....The question is whether it's newsworthy enough to be covered as a major story in mainstream media? IMO, no because similar stories out of Iraq aren't covered this way anymore and...it's not 'news' (violence, mass killings in Iraq) per se.

Yes, it is. I have no gripes saying that either. ;) And BTW, as I posted in this there was a Muslim praying behind me in a lab just about 30 minutes ago. :1orglaugh

Maybe you were in his prayers..:dunno:

Indeed, Iraq's Muslims have responded with sympathy and support. Sheikh Salim Al-Dayawie, head of the Al-Dayawie tribe in the southern province of Maysan, said any prospect of poisoning Iraqis Muslims against Christians is misguided. "We have some Christian families and churches in Maysan and we would work hard to protect them. We have lived in with them in harmony for thousands years and we have nice friendships. We visit them, they visit us, and of course we won't let to any extremists to attack them or push them out Iraq." And he is willing to support them with more than words. "We will work with [members of] our tribes in Baghdad to protect the Christians. We are ready to send our sons to protect them."

I meant you define it. You can't really lay out this whole concept that people are defending extremists if you can't even define what you're talking about.

The term is pretty self explanatory. It's a religious form of fascism - in this case rooted in the "doctrine" of Islam. By all means kill the infidels, is the way I understand the definition/meaning. Thus that is how I apply it in this context. :2 cents:

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
Well none of this debacle would've started had the Stalin of the Middle East not invaded Kuwait............or the British playing with drawing up borders willy nilly back in the 1920s.

The borders thing. See, what happens when you play superpower is that you leave a mess behind that kicks you in the arse for a LONG time after. Good luck america...

The problem is that people here tend to generalize EVERY Muslim as one of those people, that's why I asked. Carry on.
