Inception.

No one likes DiCaprio really. They never go see movies with him in it. I don't normally either but this one looks to good to miss.

That's too bad. I like pretty much like everything he's done from Gangs of New York to now. The Departed was excellent.

Why even bother comparing it to The Dark Knight, just because it's Nolan?
I compared it to The Dark Knight because it is more or less doctrine around here that it set the standard for sophisticated action for the past 5 years or so. Inception seems about par with the Matrix in the "action movies that make you think" genre, though as I said, I thought Inception backed away from some of the questions it was asking, in a frustrating way.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
^^ Sure, if you take out all of Christian Bale's parts, The Dark Knight was a very solid movie.

Don't really agree,but it's cool.

Watched it Saturday afternoon. Best movie of the year so far.

I agree. I liked The Quick and the Dead, Gangs of New York, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can, The Aviator, Shutter Island and Blood Diamond. Actually, the only DiCaprio movies I don't like are Titanic and Man in the Iron Mask.

By the sounds of it I will probably like this one as well.

Hey, no need to be ashamed. He's done enough good movies to repent for Titanic.

True. Man in the Iron Mask, Blood Diamond, Gangs of New York, The Departed, Shutter Island.

I think as long as he stick with working with Martian Scorsese he will be fine.

I really liked it! Definitely need to see it again and if it doesn't at least get nominated for Best Special Effects and Best Original Screenplay, then that is a shame

Looks like Leo is on a roll. Good for him. I hated him for so long after that whole Titanic business in which I had the unfortunate honor of being a teenager during that time. Now, however, I see that he is a very good and dynamic actor, so all is forgiven Mr. DiCaprio. :hatsoff:

I finally, truly agree with you on something!

I think Memento is more of a mindfuck and more innovative, but Inception is definitely a worthy film in the Christopher Nolan canon...

There isn't a better director working today than Mr. Nolan.
