It's the best action thriller seen in years! great stuff!
Easily the best action movie in years, far better and more sophisticated than The Dark Knight in my opinion. My only problem is that it feels like it backs away from some of the questions it is posing about memory and consciousness, and so fails to become a true classic. Still a very, very good movie.

Why even bother comparing it to The Dark Knight,just because it's Nolan?
If you want to compare it to other Nolan movies,try Memento or The Prestige,because it fits somewhere in the same neighborhood with those two.
On a side note,it does appear that Christopher Nolan has now officially entered the upper echelon of directors.I can honestly say that I haven't seen a bad movie from him yet.
I thought that David Fincher would be " The" guy after watching Fight Club,but it seems that Nolan has surpassed him in almost every way.Fincher is still a better visual artist,but Nolan just seems to bring a little bit more to the table with every movie that he does.The one and only thing that Nolan needs to tighten up is his editing.He makes some hard cuts at times and they just seem to be a little jarring.
Even with that,I'm at the point that whatever Nolan does,I'm going to watch it in the theater,no matter what it is.Can't say the same about Fincher anymore,Though I did enjoy Zodiac,but I'll take a pass on his Facebook movie.
If I lived in Canada I would see it with you. :nanner:

Hey, no need to be ashamed. He's done enough good movies to repent for Titanic.
How is that possible? Great girl, great movie. Doesn't make any sense.
No one likes DiCaprio really. They never go see movies with him in it. I don't normally either but this one looks to good to miss.
