Never. You never even had frozen pizza as a kid? When I was a kid I actually thought Celeste and Tombstone were good pizzas. I have always, always liked Stouffer's French Bread Pizza.
Well being as I was lucky enough to grow up in a Sicilian family, things like pizza, and pasta were NEVER bought, they were made from scratch. If we did get pizza from a pizzeria, it was a mom & pop operation, and the only thing that was ever put on a pie, was sausage and grilled white onion, and they complained the pizzeria put to much cheese on it. Mom didn't buy cookies, she made them. Popcorn was made in a cast iron skillet on the stove top, and so was coffee. I still have a couple of Corning ware coffee perkolators. When I got into my teens I tried Stouffer's French bread pizzas for the first time, and they were awesome....a couple of days later my mom recreated them with kaiser rolls, and her sauce and toppings. Mainly because how dare I bring something like that into her kitchen, she can make it better. Remember back in the day, you would want McD's, and you got the speech about how she could make you a better burger at home? They never understood, it wasn't about better, it was about a specific flavor, or just something different. I remember the first time I asked my mom if she could put mushrooms, and more cheese on half a sheet for me. She looked at me like I was an alien, and then busted my chops about it.
