I'd not like to be immortal, for an example; What are you gonna do when the sun becomes a red giant, and it destroys the planet?

Yes, I would. As for the whole world dying thing, well I'm hoping by that time we have the whole space thing figured out and I could just float around traveling from galaxy to galaxy.

I'd rather have the ability to be invisible whenever I wanted.

We can all be immortal if someone remembers us and shares their memories of us after we pass.

My first thought was awesome. But then I think about the movie the Green Mile
where Paul Edgecomb manages to live a lot longer than the average person. And he points out about losing all the friends and loved ones he's had in life, and how after all that time he wants to die.

So I have to say, probably not

That's only true if you do something monumental that the whole world will talk about, we're talking Cleopatra, Napoleon, Hitler etc. That's immortality right there but it's hard to get there. The majority of folks will only experience it for a couple of generations and then will be forgotten about.

No. Just imagine if you got locked up for murder. That'd be a long time to be in jail.
