Illuminati / NWO: The Conspiracy Theories

Conspiracy...
All I see in this thread is a lot of apathy and people who don't study or research anything.

Because everything will always be great and rainbows and candy. :D

these theories all fall down,

No, they don't. It depends on who you're listening to.

"All fall down." Blanket statement enough?

I read an article a while ago, I forget where so I can't find it if you want to read it. That states that people who buy into these things are usually trying in some way to escape the reality in which they live.

Absolutely.

It gives them a false sense of being "in control".

It's also often a misdirected way of rebelling against their daddies, or whatever other authority figures from their personal lives have proven untrustworthy.

And they overlook the vital facts that usually put these claims in their place because of it.

Yes. The usefulness of the self-deception is way more important to them than the truth.

Some of the symbols i see do make me think about it, such as actually how much the "all seeing eye" pops up

And that's hardly surprising. The "Eye of Providence" is an iconic symbol that dates all the way back to Egyptian mythology and ancient Buddhist scriptures.

another one i seen was accusing one of our newspapers over here, because its called "The Sun" its been said that they have something to do with the illuminati because illuminati means illuminated ones - enlightened ones etc.

:1orglaugh

Too funny!

The actual reason is elegantly simple: Newspapers, by their nature, are meant to enlighten their readers.

We don't really know, do we? Neo-cons that blow people off who remotely buy into anything that suggests there may be a hierarchy in all fascets of our life are troubling people.

We know the media is controlled by a handful of people; we know there is an elite class that have a long history in American politics. I don't know, the G8 Summit's, Bilderberg meetings, and United Nations at least raise suspisions in my eyes. I think we all get only the information that the media want's us to get, and the media is controlled by only a half dozen or so--that is fact.

You see people who read and think for themselves, and, alas, do not come to the same conclusions as you do.
No, they don't. It depends on who you're listening to.

Will,

your problem is biased thinking. If you go into research with the deep wish to find proof for something and the aversion for anything that speaks against it, it is pretty obvious what your final conclusion will be.

As long as you are in that state of mind, I will follow one of my grandpa's wisdoms:

'Yeah, you're right, and I got my peace' :1orglaugh

Here's something you could do some inside resarch on:

Underground UFO base in the Himalaya

Tell us everything when you're back

Watch this, shut up, go back to bed America, here is American Gladiators, here is 56 channels of it! Watch these pituitary retards bang their fucking skulls together and congratulate you on the living in the land of freedom. Here you go America - you are free to do what we'll tell you! Will, I gotta ask you this.

When you're walking down the street are you constantly looking over your shoulder?

Are you afraid to leave your house unless absolutely necessary?

It's cool to be ignorant. That's the American way. Do a little research on media control (Todd Gitlin), framing, and the history of media control in America (CQ Researcher and Britannica online have some relevant work on the subject). If you don't question media, you are a tool and a lemming.

Uhh, yeah.

So what setbacks have you had in your life that you are blaming on unnamed "others"?

Setbacks? Yeah, I don't know. Is life all rosie for you? What does that have to do with the point (we are all a bunch of lemmings being controlled by those that have power)? :dunno:

Well, what does "media control (Todd Gitlin), framing, and the history of media control in America" have to do with my question to Wil. E. about his walking down the street looking over his shoulder?

Not much, I guess. But because he questions whether what we are relayed on whatver media sources we have are bogus I don't think is outrageous. Just my :2 cents:.

I dont think its necessarily having setbacks and blaming your own problems onto unnamed others, its just questiong the authority and what happens behind the scenes.

There's a difference between questioning authority & believing in crackpot conspiracy theories!

Maybe for the two of us, but the crackpots are going a straight line from wondering if Obama isn't really secretly a muslim to believing the National Enquirer to Freemasons from Mars plotting to take over the good old US of A.

If only they knew that in fact, it's all about zombies!

:conehead:

I would not be surprised if 9/11 was proven to be an act of terrorism by the USA, on it's own people.
It would not surprise me in the least.

With all of the lines told about WMD, Iraqi and the 45 minute warning, Colin Powell directly lying to the UN in February 2003 : nothing would surprise.

The same people would have you believe that Lee Harvey Oswald pulled the trigger.
