No doubt that there is a panic industry. And it's not just the folks that sell Bigfoot repellent. Everyday folks get sucked into this too. Remember Y2K? The best example is when there is a threat of a snowstorm. The supermarkets are a madhouse. Bread, milk, and eggs are wiped from the shelves by people that don't even eat that. And the supermarkets know that and make a killing. Ask yourself this, how long could you last with the food that is in your house right now? Now how long was the most time a snowstorm kept you from leaving the house? A company named Wise will sell you food for a year for a family of 6 for $7000. They must be selling these doomsday packages to someone because they do lots of advertising.
