where the US army develope the time travel and choose to travel to Israel during the time of Jesus Christ. they also consider go to 1492 (Cristobal Colon and the America discover) and also go back to the US Civil War.

For me...Unless I have the Back to the Future Almanac...I don't want to go backward in time..I'd rather go forward in time (a la The Time Machine) to about 200 years from now and see what we're up too...will we have teleportation? Lasers? Star Trekkish world? Alien contact?

That's a tough one. I'm gonna cheat a little bit here because I don't have one direct answer. My first time would be the biblical time to see if God and Jesus exist and to see if everything the Bible says is true. Another time would be the American Civil War era to see if the South was right about state's rights and to meet my historical idol and relative Robert E. Lee. My last would be the World War 2 era, just to say "thank you" to the men who sacrificed everything.
