I think I'm depressed...

I've had a lot of life events that make me a little depressed, but I'm usually a positive person and I'm working through the problems, so for me its momentary.

I think I would look at doing things that make you happy and see what happens. You may need medication and therapy, but then again you may not. It might help to talk with some friends and family.
 
I look at people who've been here for 3 months who have 4000 posts already and I'm like wtf? How many of those posts are actually useful and worth while?

It's not always what it seems. I've been here a year and 4 months with over 12K posts, and I dare anyone to call any of those into question on their usefulness or humorous merit. :)

Rest assured, spammers are generally taken care of fairly quickly.
