The sad part is the Rush, Hannity and Beck types think this shit is fun and funny but the reality is there are lunatics on the fringe out there who take them seriously. And who hear the constant drumbeat of these idiots claiming things like Obama is taking their "guns" (for example) then go and commit violence like the lunatic last week who killed those Pittsburgh cops.

This is all they are good at...they've proven to be utter failures at governing. So the only things they do well are finding a scab and picking at it until it's ulcered then using it for political victory. Then they con Americans into ceding power to them again, fuck shit up beyond recognition then leave a smoldering mound of shit for their successor to clean up with no good options...Then start the cycle all over again.

There is never moment where it's only about what's in the best interest of U.S. citizens without any political calculation for them. They would argue Democrats are the same but after 9/11 EVERYONE was behind GWB and they gave him the benefit of every doubt and extended the widest possible latitude for a U.S. president since reconstruction...until he fucked that up.

I used to watch his show because he'd invite guests with opposing political viewpoints to have a talk and pick their brain about the politics and whatnot. Now his show is trying to imitate Smart Money by being loud, in your face, and over the top. And to think I used to sympathize with him after reading about his struggle with substance abuse.

Can't what he says be said said and reasonably demonstrated as an opposing point of view without using exaggerations, hyperbole and in some cases lies in an attempt to incite people?

These are tough times which also makes them dangerous times as well because there are those who are looking lash out at someone or something in response to their circumstance.

It doesn't help when you have some clown on national t.v. fanning the flames and trying their level best to drive deeper divisions between people who have more in common than they don't.
