Granted, this album was released in 1989. However, I carried it with me into the 90's.

Same here Shifty :) ... with this Mike Rutherford, Paul Carrack sung song.... :hatsoff:

An inspirational song. Quite powerful indeed. ;)

Great thread. Brings back a lot of memories. Most of the songs I can think of have already been posted but this one song came up a few days ago in a conversation I had about music and it surprised me because I hadn't heard it in years. I remember it being fairly popular on the radio but I can't remember how "big" it became. I'm guessing it was only popular for maybe a year and obviously wasn't heard that often after that.

Surprised this song wasn't posted yet. This was like the teen anthem for a solid two years back in the late 90s. It's also another song that gives me those bittersweet, warm and fuzzy emotions and memories and it really takes me back to the late 90s. I didn't even like it all that much back then. It was too pop for me.

A couple of days ago my friend went to YouTube and played this song and I was like FUCK!. I couldn't believe I actually forgot about this pop, pink bubble gum radio song. How could I forget? It's been said before but this song takes me back to 98-99 so it's really bittersweet to listen to. Even the music video feels dated. :crying:
