Not much of a comeuppance...Smart ain't too smart after all.
Nancy Grace is a former Federal prosecutor who had her 1st show as a Court TV commentator, not a news anchor.
She specialized in Rape and child abuse cases, among the usual things Fed prosecutors do.
I always enjoyed her vast knowledge of Law and cases...she laid it on any attorney on her panels who got too much BS in the discussion.
After coming to CNN, she has gone way overboard doing days and days on one case, usually a national sensation case.
While she is a bit too rigid for me a lot of the times, she has never proclaimed the guilt of anyone not convicted of a crime first.
She does get to the heart of a case, and when she got so much shit for grilling that mother who killed her baby and tried to make it seem like a kidnapping, I knew that chick was probably guilty like I could tell Susan Smith was lying. Nancy got to the BS immediately, and the mother killed herself a bit later as her BS story fell apart. They found the dead baby later, and Nancy was right on the money on that one.
Whatever she may be or do for you, she is a serious advocate for abused women and children.
And a hard core legal expert.

She really needs a new hairstyle. I mean, yes she can get overwhelming to watch...she's just passionate. Her voice is grating. And her hairstyle....needs to go.
It's not passion, it's formulated outrage...or rather, the total exploitation and capitalization of dead children. If it was about the victims, then she'd actually cover more cases with more victims, instead of focusing on the sex life, family life and jail house eating habits of Misty Croslin, Casey Anthony and the fucking Hogan family.
Showing slow motion home movie footage set to a sad piano score is just pathetic. She's nothing more that a populist who knows that lonely stupid people will join in her pretend outrage to fool themselves into thinking it makes them better people. Although I am familiar NG's own personal tragedy,
I interpret this woman as being one who seems to get sexually aroused by other peoples' tragedies / horrific occurrences, it's really kinda sickening.
Remember, she did made her fame and fortune off of the back of a murderer, what else can I say?
All it takes is one close look into the eyes of this woman and you know that you have one who is . . well, not playing with a full deck and is ''certifiable'', shall we say. I can't quite put my finger on what it is I see . . . but it's there! :eek:
