How Old is Too Old to Perform

I worked as a designer for a major porn company for years. I've designed pay-per-minute sites for many of the big studios and stars. The professionally designed sites always produced more sales. Professionally designed websites are more pleasing to the eye and they offer simpler intuitive functionality. This leads to a higher percentage of sales.



Those studies are not flawed. If people don't trust the site they fear giving you their credit card info.

The point is that you need to fire on all cylinders. You need to have a great site design that makes sense and update regularly with high quality content. Those are the 3 main things and from looking at your site I don't know that you have any.

1) Your site design is very 1995. No actual design effort.

2) You offer only one small video sample and the quality is low grade. The video isn't that great compared to your competitors and the audio is hissy. Your photo samples are just as bad. They are all thumbnails.

3) Your twitter feed is broken. It simply doesn't display.

4) Your price is too high for what you appear to offer. Your competitors charge the same price but appear to offer much more. It seems counter intuitive but if you dropped your price you might see more sales and more money.

Those are just the things I noticed right away. You can take them as insults or take them as advice on the things you should correct.

Clearly you have not worked in the industry in a long time. The big companies are the ones that are losing money. A lot of them are shutting down sites.

The sites that are making money are the ones that are ran by the models/performers themselves. People enjoy sites that the models are actually a part of. Not a site that a model has nothing to do with.

I also have to laugh at what you posted. My site ranks higher on reviews then a lot of the "company" ran sites that you think are so great. This is 2011 and big companies no longer rule when it comes to websites.

I worked in the adult industry for 5 years and still keep in touch. The big companies are the ones making the majority of the money. You aren't really going to compare your sales to companies like Vivid, Wicked, Naughty America and Brazzers are you?

Really? Ok when is the new launch scheduled? FYI, Black and red websites tend to affect the typical person negatively. Lighter colors produce a more positive experience for the user. But your designer knows this I'm sure.

I made over $250,000 last year. What did you make last year? I could care less if you like my site design or not. The members like it and it sells. I am not a pornstar, never wanted to be one. I am happy being a semi amateur.
