When my hands hurt 10 to 15 words per minute.

But when they don't it's about 30 to 40. That's not often these days.

When I was in high school it was around 80 or 90, not sure now. I had taken typing 1 and 2 than word processing in lieu of typing 3.

I can type about 55 wpm and I don't know what percent my accuracy is but I would usually make about 5 errors in the 3-minute typing tests I took. That was about a year ago at a job training center.

I never got past about 40 wpm, I think almost as fast as I can talk. I write a lot in one go, and then come back to edit it for errors and cut down on the length. I don't hunt and peck.
