How do you organize your porn?

i have the porn stuff orgnized this way :
a big folder named ''freeones favs'' where are 'fcourse al the pstars from favorites section, everyone with a folder, and two subfolders: one with ''pics'', other with '' vids''
then are some other various folders named after my favs sites: ''bangbros'' , ''naughty america'' and so on..

I have all my stuff on the computer in name order and as for my DVD's I have one pile for Natalia Cruze/Sophia Santi and another pile for everything else.

I used to sort my DVDs by actress but I encountered a problem when there were more than one girl i liked on the dvd. now i try to sort them by purcase date and try to keep series together.

Here's how I do it:

1 main folder

8 subfolders:
- Asian
- Babe
- Busty Superstars
- Hardcore
- Fetish
- Lez
- Mature
- Pornstars

These are further sub-foldered according to model:
e.g. Mature\Penny Porshe\

And, if necessary, divided again according to gallery:
e.g. Mature\Penny Porshe\Leather Boots\

Where the model is unknown, the file is named after the folder e.g. Babe01, Babe02, etc

For some reason I organize my pics in English. I don't know why, but it just seems more natural to me to associate these pictures with English words or names.

What's your nationality? (If you don't mind my asking)

I download all the movies in one folder and when I get 100 gigabytes, I burn some DVDs. I don't download any pictures anymore but when I did it, I tried to sort them by categories but it was too much work obviously ;-)

I sort by name and then color code the name/folder according to profession. (Red for favorites of any type, blue for mainstream, purple for porn. I'm on mac/Tiger.)

I also have a Misc Mainstream and Misc Porn folder with a few subfolders. My entire harddrive crashed last week and I lost 90-some% of everything (I fucked up, not my mac!). So, I am starting from scratch and that filing system worked pretty well. But, I also have to plug the fact that I have Spotlight, which searches everything including pdfs, external drives... for whatever I choose. Now, I think I will concentrate on properly naming (and adding searchable comments to) my files instead of worry so much about filing.

Wouldn't it be easier just to use the ole' iTunes/iPhoto combo on a Mac?

I like to make albums for specific models and photographers that I like, and store it all in iPhoto. That way I get to take advantage of all the cool browsing and slideshow features available in iPhoto, not to mention throwing on a slideshow with FrontRow.

I keep all my movies organized into playlists on iTunes, but I believe you can also integrate them into iPhoto if that is your preference.

Video right now is a massive folder of short clips waiting to be edited into longer clips for... err... enjoyment

No more long clips exist on my computer- I got kind of bored with all of them.

I organize by star name. I also organize separate videos/photos by subject matter/sex act. If there's an awesome blow-job scene, I put it in the "blowjob" folder. Good anal scene goes in the "anal folder". Really attractive chubby chick goes in the "chubby" folder, and so on.

Just the fact that some of us have to "organize" our porn is pretty funny.

So, how well organized is the porn you have on your computer or on CDs, DVDs, etc. ???

Is it all on a hard drive, or on various media?

How do you have it labelled? Would a stranger looking at the label know what's in the folder, or on the disc?

How do you have it organized (if at all)? Do you file it by year, by girl(s) name(s), by year, by website(s) found on, by film title, or WHAT?

Can you find "that one amazing pic or vid" if you think of it, within a half hour?

When you download pics or vids, do you label them w/ your organization/"archiving" system in mind???
