That cringe-inducing lede was brought to you by the fact that on Thursday, early-aughts star rapper Ja Rule expressed his support for Hillary Clinton in her 2016 presidential run.
Appearing on Fox Business Network’s Money with Melissa Francis, the “Put It on Me” performer discussed his ongoing partnership with “elite Millennials” credit card company Magnises. And when asked for his thoughts on 2016, he obliged:
“I like Hillary. I like Hillary. But, you know, it’s crazy because… I also think Jeb is a good candidate as well, but, you know, I don’t — I’m a Democrat, so yeah, so I would vote Hillary.”
