Amon Amarth is one of my favorites, there from early 90's though.

Hell yeah man! I saw them a couple months ago, there last 2 albums (imo) are in the top ten of greatest albums ever, fuckin epic!

i will agree that there are a lot of good newer bands but there are a lot of bad ones to and the crouds are turning into whimps

i went to a triveum show a while back (a great newer band) and there were people dancing and we coudent get a pit started

we saw Arch Enemy and Exodus together last week and the show and the pit were great

I listen to music i think is good, i don´t care if people call it heavy metal, country, euro-pop or alternative rock. A good song is a good song.

But a lot of bands these days sound the same. Lamb of God for instance has that sound to them that I've heard from other bands too. Nothing new or appealing there. Plus the vocals for Lamb of God sound like the cunt has been *****-fed broken glass. I'm all for new bands if they sound appealing to me. But only some of todays so-called bands are worthy of my time.
