I have only gotten bad rep once and never given it. I don't think I have earned the right/know enough about the board to dole out the negs yet. Maybe in 650 more posts.

When I first joined and wasn't really aware of how it worked I gave one out.I did not even realize that the other person would see where it came from lol.I though it would be just an anonymous way of saying I disagree not the very personal rebuke it actually turned out to be.I actually think an anonymous system might be better true indicator of rep.Now I only give positive unless I am given neg which I reply to.But that is very very rare so its been all positive for months.Dark Joker was last troll I had neg rep with.
I've not felt the need to yet - I've been on the receiving end of one though- apparently because I should have said bump instead of thank you

The last time I gave out Neg rep was to the clown who though Barack Obama was a muslim because his middle name is Hussein. He gave me it back saying he hated muslims or something....but he got banned later on. Shit what was that dork's name....can't remember...

If so, this reminds me of my childhood and the shrimp kid that would flip us off from across the creek. He must've enjoyed the snuggies that my pal Matt and Al gave him after cornering him. Maybe he was crying gleefully. :dunno: The punk always came back for more .

If I get pissed, I give it out along with a nasty comment. For as many inflammatory comments as I make around here, I seem to only get negative repped for the stupidest things. For instance, someone neg repped me for posting a certain song in a music thread.
I have once or twice. if someone says something I don't agree with, then I debate them about it.
but if someone says something that is just is really disrespectful, then I can see that warrant a neg rep.
Honestly, I don't remember giving out any. the last time was to an impending banned member who posted a thread simply to talk crap about FO's and it's member and said something along the lines of "I don't care about rep. go ahead and negative rep me." so I did and gave him a little smiley to indicate that I did so as a joke. It didn't effect him as he had no rep points, and like I said, was soon banned after that.

Only in my mind. Or by accident.
I'll field that one. Nope, neither of us has ever given the other neg rep. Though we have discussed many of each other's posts on the board during our off-board hours. Most of my stuff that might make her mad, she knows me so well that it really doesn't bother her much.

Though Roald has given me neg rep....should never have taught him how to use rep.
