Have they gone too far? No I don't think so. The two actors have agreed to star and I'm sure most if not all of the actions were discussed prior to filming. There is far worse out there that I feel does go over the line which is still seen as "acceptable" and I don't think this crosses that line yet no matter how ugly I think it might be. I've never been a fan of this particular type of porn; I can't see the attraction to it. But then again it wasn't made for me. There's a certain demographic out there that enjoy this particular type of porn and this website is just pandering to their wants.

In primetime TV, one sees numerous murders and all sorts of gratuitous violence. And for the most part, we consider it to be what it's intended to be: entertainment. Some may not like the sort of scene in the OP, but I don't see it as any worse than the standard shoot 'em up, slasher fare that populates the airwaves and movie screens.

If she was really being assaulted... if she was really trying to end the scene, that would be one thing. But if viewers find her performance convincing and disturbing, maybe that just means she has some (actual) acting skills. :dunno:

Except that a girl doesn't have to put her signature under a script as far as I know so in the end it's the word of the company versus the word of the girl & the agent. Since a trial costs a lot of money most people will not go to court unless they're sued or certain they'll win.

The only way to beat shady companies is if multiple girls come with the same complaint & these companies are smart enough to do anything beyond the script too often.

Of course I don't think this applies in this case, but one can never be too careful.

There's a difference between legality, informed consent, coercion, and personal morals/ethics. Just because it's one of these things doesn't mean that it's necessarily any or all of the others and it depends on what basis someone considers something to be "too far".

While I don't agree, I can understand the mindset behind this kind of behavior and it may not be entirely positive but it's not exactly exclusively harmful either.

The only thing that worries me is the people that are watching it alone and not the people that are actually acting it out within some kind of relationship (even a purely monetary one). Voyeurism combined with domination fantasy seems inclined to me to lead to sociopathic tendencies.

WillE, when you run out of argument--insert generalization? You might not be able to do anything about he said, she said, and that's where the gov't comes in.:thumbsup: It is naive to believe that people will simply be able to know everything about the companies they buy goods and services from. You have not heard of the phrase, "deceptive business practice" I guess? Also, when one person complains to any business, it's not likely that that business will simply respond exactly how the offended party wants. Again, this is where the gov't comes in.
