'Gunman' Shot 21 Times By NY Cops And Lives

If you want sure to make scum dead then there are seven big game calibers to consider: 44 magnum, 454 casull, 475 linebaugh, 460 s&w magnum, 478 wildey magnum, 50AE and 500 s&w magnum. The guns that fire them are heavy and recoil is important but one shot with them in the heart of in the head assure imediate death. When you go to kill some scum, always aim at the heart or the head and only use big game cartridge with the heaviest loads.
Had I to work in the police,I would pick a 500s&w revolver over a glock http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/...57771_757767_757751_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y

I can't remember which movie it was from, but one of my favorite lines is, "AK-47: when you have to kill everybody in the room, there is no substitute." That still cracks me up when I think about it.

I'm going to a gunshow tomorrow. One of the people going with me is a state trooper. I guarantee you that he'll buy a(nother) big bore revolver that he won't be able to shoot accurately. He has a gun safe full of stuff that is about as practical as a Ferrari in a school zone. This guy has more shit and talks more shit than anybody I've ever known when it comes to guns. When we go to the lake, he'll bring his .454 or his .50 AE and my buddy's wife will out shoot him with my Glock 22/.40 S&W.... just like she always does. 20 some years on the force and a girl who doesn't even like guns out shoots him without even trying. I like him though; when he dies, I'm hoping that he'll leave me all that foolishness in his will (so I can sell that crap and buy something worth a damn).

But people (mostly guys) fall in love with the Dirty Harry hand cannons and run around quoting ballistics stats, when the most important thing is that you be able to place your round where it should be placed. As USMC snipers say: One Shot... One Kill. If you're firing wildly into a crowd, whether you have a 9mm, an AK-47 or a 50AE you don't need to be a cop to begin with. And if I'm not mistaken, this is one of the reasons that New York was one of the last cities to adopt semi-auto handguns and move away from revolvers.

Not all of them, but I've often been amazed at how bad many of the cops I've known over the years are at the range. They talk a lot of shit, but they can't hit shit to save their lives (or anybody else's for that matter). And that's in the relative serenity of the range. Imagine how bad they'd be once they're in a tense situation with the adrenaline flowing.

Jackie Brown
Ordell Robbie: AK-47. The very best there is. When you absolutely, positively got to kill every motherfucker in the room, accept no substitutes.

Rep for that! Thanks. I've been trying to remember where I heard that for awhile.

Browsing in a pawn shop were we? :nono: :1orglaugh

In all seriousness, pawnshops are the certain destination for non concealable recoil extreme handguns. Anybody know who has a Coonan .357 mag.?
. . . always wanted one of those. :o

Meet us at the rest stop before Exit 146 between 1-2PM tomorrow and we can get you hooked up, young man. :nanner:

But when you get in the car, DO NOT look at the scar above Trooper Buddy's right eye. A hot load brought a blade sight up and marked him for life... and he's still a bit tender about that. So don't stare at it!

Vey interesting what you say here. But the auto pistols of today like the glock are lightweight and therefore more easier to control. The last time I went at the range in the USA, I fired a custom made caspian 1911 in 10 mm auto that is a very good round, much more powerful than the 45acp and the 40s&w .The 40s&w is an aseptised version of the 10mm auto. I know that the 10mm auto was judged overkill and an overpenetrating ammo but what do you do if a scumbag has a bulletproof vest? A bigger bullet will pierce it and make sure the scumbag is dead. Samson manufacture metal piercing rounds in the 50ae cal. Even a 44 magnum model 29 can inflict much more lethal damage than 9mm or a 40s&w but with dangerous criminals that are armed better than the police, overkill weapons are needed. Dangerous criminal hunting is like big game, even if you blow him a lung with a 50ae or with a 500 s&w round you may even tear in pieces a part of the scumbag's body, the important thing is to have the threat neutralized not by firing many rounds but one big and extremely lethal round. For being an excellent shooter, one has to train permanently with big and smaller round whether they are carbine or revolver or auto weapons.

Perhaps after bullet #4 or 5 they could have given him a Chance to hit the floor before shooting him 17 more times, no?

The chaos began when he got into a fistfight with a neighbourhood rival, and escalated when the other man pulled out a pistol.

As the two men struggled for the gun, police unleashed volleys of bullets that hit Alvarez, killed the Luis Soto, the man he was fighting with, and wounded two officers and three innocent bystanders.

Well, well, now it's not 46 shots but 27 times. And somehow the gun was not pulled by him, he was trying to wrestle it from the other guy who pulled it.

And the policemen seemed to pretty much sprayed the whole scene, hoping some shots would hit the person that creates the problem.

so the man who seemingly deserved to get shot a bunch of times gets the headline, instead of the 5 innocent bystanders who were shot?
the headline should have been: police shoot five innocent people, attempting to kill armed assailant

Why did he deserve to get shot? He wrestled the gun from someone who was trying to shoot him and this has been shown by the investigation which is why he has been cleared and not charged, read the article I posted above.
