I chose to kill Francis because I didn't like the idea of being under his thumb anymore. I don't really know the differences though.

Yep, francis for me too. I also killed playboy, I let dwaynes ex live, I chose to let that one scum bag live that you run into at the airport and I chose revenge for the final mission.
I killed Playboy X because I figured that I would get that sweet apartment and I was right. I killed Dwayne's ex and I chose revenge. I also got revenge and killed that guy at the airport.
So been playing the online lately as my main game, and the competition sucks for races and deathmatches. On race i'll lose when some idiot bumbs and screws me up, but usually i'll still have the fastest lap, and deathmatches wow, never lose. usually go 30-2 with the 15 min game, i know peopoe dont really play this anymore but wow the competition is just rediculous now
I thought the story was one of the best parts of the game and I really grew to like Niko.:dunno:

i don't think i ever had a game make me laugh like this game/story did. the remarks and comebacks Niko says to the other caracters is funny.
i like before your mission (blood brothers) when you are talking to Francis and he is going on and Niko leans back and yawns. he does the hand over the mouth (like an indian whoo,whoo,whoo). just some snappy comeback stuff.
by the way i killed derrick. i was going to kill derrick then play some of it out and see what other missions happen but save it on a seperate svae spot so i can go back and kill francis and see what different missions happen..... i fucked that up i went to save and just overwrited like i normally do! FUCK i guess i will have to play the game over once i finish and do all my choices different so see the different outcomes.

After playing tons of GTA 4, my thoughts:
Bring back statbuilding and MORE MINIGAMES! (San Andreas style)
The weapons.. not bad. You really dont need anything else, it feels limited but.. it's not. Just how many kinds of bullet-slingers do you really need? Just a few.
The cars and driving model. Realistic. Getting away from the cops is no longer easy, but at least when you die you get to keep your weapons so when you're still pissed off from getting fragged... you can go RIGHT BACK at it. Kill a few civvies.. whiny fuckers who phone the cops too fast.. kill an assload of cops, duck into an alley and snipe/AK that asshole helicopter! So anyway, driving isnt on rails, no.. but it's just as fun speeding thru midtown at 60+ mph between cars.
Dating and friends. A nice diversion. Funny. Definitely nice to have the perks that go with getting them up to 100%. (damn you kiki get rid of the 3 stars for FUCKS SAKE!)
What isnt fun?
Hitting a brick wall and flying out the front window.
Finding yourself with 3 wanted stars (Outta friggin' nowhere because you accidentally pegged a cop with the bumper) and having to wait a few minutes between storyline missions.. dates.. etc.
Those same friends can be needy bastards. Roman.. you're great, you're family.. but FUCK OFF CUZ I NEED TO DO SOME MISSIONS! Brucie.. are you okay? Stop the 'roids. Michelle/K.. I think you're kinda great. At first. Then no. Then yes.. then.. WOMEN! I TELL YA!
You really need subtitles on. What the friggin' hell are badman and jacob saying?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!??!?!??!??!?!?!?!
Great game, realistic world, huge place. But.. if only there were more things to do, more buildings you can randomly enter.. and dare I say it.. more songs on the radio stations.. people would never have to leave their house. The game is THAT close to being unebelievably awesome.
Niko is presented with choices. The whole game could really use some more choices. On every level. How to respond to something.. what course of action to take.. interior or exterior view in 'hot coffee'.. heh
The dialogue is pretty tongue-in-cheek.

Nah, I kid. But I HATED the statbuilding, if I want to "statbuild" I go and play The Sims, or any RPG. GTA is a game designed for fun, not for realism... I want to go cause mayham, but I can't. Why? Because my guy is too fat.

This one is a bit more grounded in reality. Unless you really like the new driving model and finding yourself being chased by the cops after shooting the pistol once.. at a wall.. in an empty alley.. (damn pigs.. the fun police show up too soon!)
This is the first GTA I've ever cheated in because of the new 'realism'. Sometimes I'm like you and I just want to break things, shoot people and see how far it'll go.
Then the N.O.O.S.E van shows up, doubleteams me with those asshole-fucker-bastards in the chopper and my fun is just.. gone.

My only real issue with the game is that the money is useless. Buying weapons, obviously, but I'm never going to spend a million dollars on weapons, I'd rather go find them for free. And restoring health only costs one buck.
So why do I need all this money?

ok on the mission where you help your GaY buddy Bernie you meet 2 guys in a car (superGt) and chase them around town until they crash. i never got the car after killing them and i looked on the Map that Legzman provided on the previous page. the Super Gt is supposedly found in the chinatown area. but i have been looking for over 45 minutes now and cannot find it.does anyone know where to look for it? i want to check it out. or does it eventually come later in the game?

I've had 2 super GTs, found them just randomly driving about. One of them got away before I could steal it, and the other one I drove into a river
