Grindhouse

My only concern with the film getting a NC-17 rating is that they won't show it in good old Cincinnati. With most films, I could care less about it in the theatres because I wouldn't cough up the cash anyways, but this one looks worth it. On the bright side, there was 1 theatre in town that showed the NC-17 version of A Dirty Shame (and it was a Showcase/National Amusements Theatre if you can belive it) so maybe there is still hope.

Hooray for sex and ********...gotta love Roberto and Quinton :)

Definitely going to see it on opening night!
This is going to be an awesome double flick

am i the only one who sees this as a sin city rip off. i just saw the previews last night. or is it supposed to be related to sin city in some way?

Become more confused with it every time I see the previews. I might check it out when it hits the premium channels on TV, but there just isn't anything in it worth seeing in theaters.

you do realize that its coming from the same two directors right?

All of there collabs together have this similar kind of wild and over the top style.

I saw the previews for this and I don't know. It looks one of those movies that is going either be great or completely blow and it's hard to tell just yet.

The one thing I **** about Tarantino is that hes slapping his name on all of these movies that he really has nothing to do with (The protector, hostel).

but i guess it helps promote the movies, i just cant stand when people say "Did you see that new Tarantino movie" when he didnt do it.

sorry about the late reply, but it's not exactly that he has nothing to do with those movies. he's been producing a lot of movies, and that's why you'll see his name on them.

In case you don't know what that is, when someone wants to make a movie they give a script or an idea to a producer, and he's the guy that get's them in business, usually passing on the idea to the executive producer. In these cases, they either went to him or he found out about the project and wanted to be involved in it. The executive producer is the guy that puts up the cash for the movie, so it sounds a lot better if famous director Tarantino comes up to him and says "Hey, I want to get this movie made" instead of joe blow nobody.

He also bought this old kung fu movie studeo in China Town that was on the verge of bankruptcy so he's been doing a lot of projects there too that most people don't know about.

At first I said the same thing, "why does he ahve his name on all these movies?" But after finding out about it, I think that it's pretty cool that he's giving something back and using his influence to help other people make movies.

Anyone looking forward to this double feature horror film by two of the most innovative directors ever, Tarantino, and Rodriguez.

Jesus, is that total bullshit.

Tarantino and Rodriguez are the farthest thing from innovative, unless you want to count Tarantino's moronic habit of taking washed-up has-been actors like Travolta and that loser from Jackie Brown and bleating how "this is their comeback performance of their lifetime."

Neither of those two has an innovative atom in their body. All Tarantino has done is to take hackneyed worn out film cliches and put a bunch of bright shiny noises in front of them in a futile attempt to distract true cinematics such as myself from the bullshit he's throwing up on the screen.

And the only thing Rodrguez is known for is making some bullshit foreign language picture for like $1,000.

Big fucking deal. Seeing as he filmed the damn thing in Mexico, I'm surprised it even cost that much. And the film sucked flaccid uncut cock.

why cant we behave like normal ppl and just talk about sex and porn and sexy porn and pornstars....?

ignoring that request, let me ask you something completely different.

it says you are from karachi, pakistan. is that also a last name for people from pakistan? i had a good friend of mine moved there a few years ago and i think that was his last name. his first name was zeshawn. youre not supposed to write it on the ground or something because it meant god or something.

I can't wait for this to come out, such a change from the sterile bullshit hollywood has been pumping out for years, except SIN CITY

ok... the city is Karachi... the country is Pakistan....
"Pakistan" cannot be used as a last name.... so thats not true...
and of course the reason for not writing your countries name on the ground is purely out of respect... as ppl would tend to walk over it and thats not what anybody would want of their respective country..... and no, it doesn't mean "God"... :-)
now since I have been nice enough to divulge all this info - can we please get back to porn and sex.... lol
