Got me an Android, what Apps do I need?

Sup folks?!

Just got me a handy HTC Desire and downloaded the latest Android version but now I feel like I miss something and that Android Market Store for Apps is just completely overloaded with Apps.

So, yeah, can you guys recommend any 'must have app' ?

To start with: AppBrain and Lookout.

AppBrain: to find usefull / high rated apps that might interest you
Lookout: to prevent maliscious software getting installed / used
