Some big American company needs to offer her some big money
Baring somebody inventing a time machine and going back to the state the industry was in a decade ago I don't think that's going to happen,...and even then I don't know if they could give her the money she would want. Maybe if her situation got worse and she lowered her standards to what she was willing to do, but I don't think I would want to see that. Working with Chaplin was bad enough.
If this is it, Gemma might be one of the biggest waste of talent that went hardcore ever. I'm sure there are others up there with her and that probably have even exceeded her in that, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. I hope what she and Bluebird were reportedly paying her in her contract was true and not just b.s., because otherwise it would suck for her right now. Maybe just quitting hardcore stuff is for the best if she would have to lower herself too much to say relevant in the industry. Her career should have been so much better, and because of bad decisions or events after another it got derailed.
If this is the end maybe there's important lessons to be learned for other people in the industry, and they won't take the same strategy in their careers and mismanage it, like going overboard with surgery when they are already an upper end model and linking yourself up to a company and/or person that doesn't seem like they should trust it any further than they can throw a mountain. Part of it seems to be her choices and part of it is that Bluebird never seemed like a company that took anything seriously. Even when it first started up I thought it had a fly by night reek all over it.
