He's finally gone! It would have been nice to see one of the remaining Starks kill him, but either way it was nice someone finally gave him what he deserved. Anyone have any ideas who actually did it? I don't personally think it was Tyrion.

What a pity that Sophie Turner was underage when this scene was filmed, and they had to butcher it and film without any tits.

I think the character being 13/14 would have precluded them exposing Sansa regardless of Sophie's age.

Danaerys was 13 when Drogo fucker her, and only made her 14-th "name day" after she became pregnant. This didn't prevent them from showing Emilia Clarke 's tits all the time in the series.

She may as well not mention Ilyn Payne any more since he won't be in the show again unless they recast him - Wilko Johnson (yes, the guitarist) who played him previously has terminal cancer.

Fun "it was different in the books" fact (I'm sure I'll share more of these as the series progresses) - in the books it was Payne that Jaime practiced his left-handed swordsmanship with, on the logic that without his tongue, Jaime wouldn't have to worry about him telling anyone about it.

IN THE BOOKS Dany was 13 when she was married to Drogo. In the show, all the characters were aged several years. Sansa is explicitly stated to be 13 in the pilot (but was only 11 at the start of A Game Of Thrones) and 14 (one assumes nearly 15) on her wedding night. There is a world of difference between the (ahem) fully-developed looking Daenerys receiving a savage rogering, and the nude depiction of a character we have been explicitly told is 14 and I can see why HBO did not want it filmed as such. Even though they're fine with all the incest and torture porn.

Thank you! I had a feeling it was Olenna Tyrell. She is very cunning and last season she was asking Sansa what Joffrey was really like since Sansa had been engaged to him and dealt with him one on one in private. I'm sure she feared for her daughters safety after those conversations.
