Fuck all the political threads

Well, it's called the Talk section, and since this board is all about freedom of expression, it'd be rather inconsistent for this board to be okay with nudity and pornography as freedom of expression but against the freedom of political expression. Plus, you don't have to participate in any political thread if you don't want to.

Politics of today is rather depressing. Very few politicians deliver what they promise or can't do it because of all the red tape and many politicians just promise what they think will get them elected then 'change their mind' once in power or let corruption get to them. The past few centuries politicians fought for real change and bettering the lives of the common people, now it seems people want to become politicians to get a cushy well paid job as well as taking 'backhanders' from big businesses for lobbying etc. Most politicians seem to come from rich backgrounds anyway so what do they care how their policies affect the common person, they'll always have food on the table and a roof over their heads.

Without a revolution, politics is your only means of defence from the "upper" echelons of society.
Revolutions are not gonna happen these days.

I've already done this kind of thread before. If people can't argue in a thread they don't like to post in it.

A thread like this generally has people arguing less, while a thread talking about our idiot ashy black president and a bimbo beauty queen broad will get people there arguing up a storm in no time.

Seems some on here thrive off silly arguments than getting along with others.
