what the fuck you lookin at?
I don't want to install anything on my PC. Is the main reason I didn't sign up, that and I forgot about it. Of course I lost intrest after finding out about having to install something.

I didnt play cause Im moving next week and have no internet at my apartment. Im currently using a psp on this site thanks to a magical wifi signal (that has no security code) making its way inside my apartment. I dont have a My Freeones account yet. Other than that I wouldnt mind installing poker software, I already play on Pokerstars and Full Tilt.

Thanks guys, this is some really good feedback. Keep it coming. :)

i like poker and all, but it's more of a close friends and family thing for me

I`m shit at pokerI would have been all in on the first hand and that would have been it.How about a nice game of dominoes or cribbage??

I would have never added the 'I'm just not interested in poker at all.' option in the poll...

I myself am not interested in poker, but this thread is meant for those that are & even if 80% of the active members are not interested in poker, then I'd still say FO should still try to organise it for the remaining 20%.

Heck, I do not know how many people were interested in the auctions (looking at the contestants, it was probably only a small percentage), but I'm still glad it was organised.

Because of this, I hope that the admins won't take the amount of people who voted for the last option into account, but if they don't, why was it added?

I didn't really want to install anything on my computer

Aw come on Legz. There you sit downloading taiwanese midget porn off some site located in Slovenia that's written in Russian and you're worried about a download from a reputable poker site? :1orglaugh

Seriously though, these poker downloads are EXTREMELY safe.
They have to be because the various poker site's (i.e. corporations) profits (which are HUGE) would dry up immediately if their downloads weren't secure.

I agree.

I can understand why people would not want to install something onto there computer, but I have been playing on pkr.com for over a year now and it is very safe.

I think that if the tournament would have been hosted on a more well known site, like Full Tilt Poker or Pokerstars then more people would have registered. Like myself, I prefer playing Full Tilt, and I don't see the need to install another poker client.

I'm relatively new here and never heard of it. I'd be interested but I also am wary about installations and new sites.

I would have liked to have played, but time was the main limiting factor. As it turned out I did end up having to work during the tournament. Maybe more notice would have been better. I'm not sure how long the notice was, I don't really check the sticky threads too often/ participate in board contests.

Also when I went to the thread and heard about system errors when people were trying to sign up, that turned me off and then hearing about problems for American users continued to dwindle my interest.

I'm really starting to think that we should make this a "private" ongoing thing for board members who are interested on whatever site.

How many points did it cost?

I like poker and would join in any time I have the possibility. Just happened to by busy this time. I think it is a great initiative!
