I play online poker so i would have loved to butt i assumed that there would be some sort of catch. Maybe somebody else would want my email address along with installing something else into my computer.

Also, I didn't see any advantage to signing up with that poker site over on of the more mainstream online poker sites.

Fair enough. Out of curiosity, what poker sites do you play on?

Petra. What did you think of all the feedback. Do you think we can make this happen?

What did you have to do in order to play?
Create an account, I guess... Did you have to deposit any money doing this?
Did you have to enter a lot of personal info? Even credit card number?

Poker and porn mix together really well. I sure hope we can get this going. Thanks for trying to get this going Petra.

Can't remember if I answered this. FullTiltPoker.com.

No, no money deposit or credit card necessary.
None of the poker sites require those if all you want to do is play for play chips, or in a non-cash tournament of the sort Petra has in mind. The problem with the European site we tried was that the freeroll tournament tables were all in the "cash" section of the site, and because of an idiotic law passed with the encouragement of the holy roller Bush administration, U.S. players are not allowed to play in cash games, or games located in the cash section, of any foreign sites.

Yes you'll need to create an account on any site. All the sites ask for standard personal information (name address city state country), but if you're not playing for real money you can fill that in with anything you like, i.e. make all the info up if you prefer. The only accurate bit of information they require is a working email address so they can confirm your account once you register it.

I'm still working on it. I've heard rumors that the Dems might allow online gambling again this fall and if that happens I'll have a lot more options. Plus I found this application...but I need people to test it out. http://board.freeones.com/showthread.php?t=319289
