I think it's important to be vigilant of the bullshit that is being said on Fox News and bringing it to the attention of those here who watch it to have discussions with them about it to clarify the misconceptions, manipulation, and misinformation that is aired on Fox "News"

I saw this on the regular Fox channel sunday morning news show.I almost spit my coffee up when I heard Britt say Tiger needs to convert from buddhism to christianity so that he can find forgiveness,guess buddhists don't go for that say a few hail mary's and be forgiven nonsense.

What's interesting to me is that Hume clearly has absolutely no idea about the fundamental ideology of Buddhism. He basically just implies that if you're a Buddhist, you cannot find forgiveness, which is so flippantly false that I can only ascribe it to either ignorance, or hatred. The fundamental difference here is that Buddhists rely primarily one the self to deal with issues like this, (meaning if Tiger wants forgiveness, he's got to change what caused the problem) while most Christian religions focus on forgiveness from the outside. It still puzzles me how someone can make such ignorant statements and expect to be taken seriously.

He is an anchor and all anchors and reporters are the mouthpieces of their news organizations. Fox isn't a computer..it's comprised of "talent" that they pay for a reason. So unless the anchor is offering an expressed commentary or editorial...the people a network pay to discuss news (not just one all of them) speak on behalf of the network.:2 cents:
