I went with Full Metal Jacket. But the best line from any of his films is from Dr. Strangelove.

The President: "Gentlemen , you can't fight in here. This is a WAR room."
I laugh everytime i think about it

Just saw Dr. Strangelove a couple of weeks ago..And yes that line is the best....

Think this is the worst question ever.

Kubrick was nothing short of a god. How could you possibly ask what my favorite is? I could watch any of them endlessly.

I agree. it's hard for me to pick one favorite movie. Although "2001 a Space Odyssey" stands at the top for reinventing the sci fi genre. There would be no "Star Wars" or "Battlestar Galatica" with out this movie.

yeah and it's still the most realistic scifi movie. Thats unbelieveable cause the movie was made before people could leave the earth or? Most actual movies still have sound effects in the outer space, entertaining but impossible.

I read an article awhile back about how Dr. Strangelove was made and what all went into the movie. It sounded like a good movie so the next time I was out at the local Best Buy, I found it and bought it. I loved it!

The thought of nuclear war (which is still present today), Slim Pickens as the cowboy who straddles the atomic bomb as it desends on it's target (who has not seen an homage to this?), and Peter Sellers great performances as the American President, the British exchange officer, and the German Dr. Strangelove.

All around I thought it was an extremely great movie and I encourage everyone to see it.
