favorite serial killers???

incomplete without mentioning any politicians/dictators...

I find it odd and disturbing that there would be a discussion on 'favorite' people who viciously, savagely murdered two or more people, as if we were talking about favorite baseball players or actors. There's nothing to be celebrated with any of these monsters. Nothing.

I agree...

...but is that some kind of a war plane in your signature? Do you like wars and weapons that are used to kill people? I don't think that's too far away from original topic with its similarity...

close this thread, please...

Just because something is distasteful or disturbing, doesn't mean that it needs to be closed. Discussing serial killers isn't illegal, neither is "admiring" them no matter how creepy that may be.

With that being said, for me it's Jack the Ripper because of the mystery surrounding the entire case. The case has also inspired so many different works of art, movies, books, comics, plays, music, and games. Jack the Ripper is one of my favorite villains for Victorian era role-playing games because of the mystery surrounding who he can be and the terror you can instill in his potential victims (the players).

I don't like the "favorite" idea, I think it's more like "which serial killer do you find most fascinating". Because even though what they did was terrible and unforgivable, it IS still fascinating.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to TheSpokenWheel again.

...and if you're fascinated by the thought process which makes a person a serial killer, that doesn't mean you need to "get a life".

Don't mind him, he didn't mean anything by that comment; he was just post count spamming.

Everybody who likes or admire serial killers.....get a life!

We like pornstars, models, actors, singers or actresses, but serial killers?

Eric is correct, you're defending sick people. I know which quote I will be using when you troll me.

Sharon Tate :angels:

Tate was in the same group as her husband, Roman Polanski. They are satanists.

None. I find the look into them twisted and disturbing in near every case I've seen on television or the internet or what have you. It must be a terrible job searching these monsters out.

The electric chair needs to be used to get rid of them.

You mean, Vlad the Impaler

I guess that goes for RichardNailder, Hedonis, Eric Lindros and anyone who agrees with him?

You can't pick and choose.

Only favorite mass murderer I have ever had is the Grim Reaper. Anything else next to "it" are nothing more than a water drop in the sea...

Will, do you not see the undeniable hypocrisy of what you just posted? It's wrong for anyone to be fascinated by the mindset of of a serial killer and what causes it, but it's ok for YOU to have that mindset? I'm no psychiatrist, but I have to think that the wall between fantasizing about th deaths of countless people in a series of killing sprees, and actually committing those acts isn't very thick.

But then again, you're a sicko with the mind of a serial killer, you probably don't even know what you're saying anymore.

Fascination with the killers and/or their crimes is understandable. It's incredible drama that really happened, but the use of the word "favorite" would seem to imply that a person enjoys some aspect of them or what they do. Maybe it's just an odd choice of word.
