That about covers it......but cant forget about dudes like The Beastie Boys (Licensed To Ill) and MC Hammer (Please Hammer Dont Hurt Em) which helped break Hip Hop into the big time and are 2 of the best selling Rap albums of all time!:hatsoff:

I have to many rap albums but some of them are by Ice Cube, Ice-T, Cypress Hill, Psycho Realm, South Central Cartel, Too Short, Wu-Tang, 2 Live Crew, Paris, Public Enemy, Lauryn Hill, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5, Run DMC, Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5, Beastie Boys, EPMD, X-Clan, Rakim, Dead Presidents, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Snoop Doggy Dog, Dr. Dre, N.W.A., M.C. Ren, Lady Sovereign, Jay Z, Kanye West, ...

Ugh... T.I.? Kanye West? Fucking tools...

As far as mainstream garbage goes, Chamillionaire has some OK tracks, but I can't enjoy a full album. No sir. Ultimate Victory is pretty good overall though, certainly a step up from The Sound Of Revenge, which I only enjoyed In The Trunk and Southern Takeover from. Bun B has some OK tracks, but again... A full album just doesn't cut it. I like Tech N9ne alot, Absolute Power is good from beginning to end. Ultimately, M.O.P. - Firing Squad is the best of the more popular stuff I've heard. Personally, I'm more into that raw underground hip-hop than anything. Even then, you have to search for the good stuff, there's almost as much garbage as mainstream, it's just more tolerable.
