I feel that she has the voice of a highschooler. Combined with her size, she is adorable, so if it wasn't for her definition, it would be hard to take her as a badass.

I was thinking they were going for an intergender war-games between Bullet Club & Judgement day. I mean, it just became 4v4, so they just needed to add 1 more.
I guess with Rea in the women's match that's not happening.

Similar to Edge, I don't think I can watch a Saraya match without seeing them take extra precautions. It makes it harder to really enjoy the match.

The Storm Zero - I know the piledriver is an inherently dangerous move, but doing it so carefully makes it look so weak as a finisher. Still, it's always impressive to watch a wrestler continue with a ****** (or possibly broken) nose.

And "interim" world champ? What a way to devalue a match.

And if the Interim Champion is unable to compete AEW will have a tournament to crown the new Interim-Interim Champion. Tony did this to himself.
Exactly. If they can't defend, then the standard is to forfeit the title and give them a guaranteed shot when they return. To literally call the champ a transitory placeholder is just demeaning and pointless.

Back to WWE, IMO what a horrible way to sell the ladies wargames. They had a brawl were all 5 heels could barely contain the 3 faces. Sure they threw in Michin later on, but even then they still ended in a draw in a 5v4 fight. Kayfabe-wise it just made the heels look super weak.

Wargames was fun.
It's nice to have all that room to maneuver, and it's nice when they use the double ropes in the middle, like they did with the table.
And of course, Iyo's moonsault. Credit to the other ladies who also took the leap.

That said, those spots where they started throwing everything but the kitchen sink into the ring, when the other team just stood around broke the illusion for me. Yim was the worst; basically her whole team was out and yet the heels just waited around while she tossed a walmart stockroom's worth of stuff into the ring.

You going to that? It's in Toronto?
No, it's in Montreal. Not that it matters. I'm not dropping freaking 2 grand for a wrestling show. I'm not a Saudi Prince.

I was just being facetious - how are they charging such prices and how are people buying them???

There usually ends up being a lotta comps given out to make the stadium look fuller. If you know people who know people you may get some tickets for free.

You planning on going to more Indy shows?

Usually to fill the hard camera, right? I don't think they give out too many floor seats. Someone is actually buying them - I remember paying $100 for 5th row floor seats at a RAW taping, and that was worth it. But I would never imagine dropping that much more than that. Definitely not $2K - unless those tickets included some private time with the women :)

Funny you should ask - I just went to one this past weekend. The fed that I saw in the summer time came back. I chatted with some of the wrestlers during the break and learned some cool facts.

$100 for those 5th row floor seats for RAW sounds fair. I'm sure you had a good time.

The good thing about a lot of Indy Shows is that the wrestlers give access to the fans. I got to talk to many of the guys wrestling at PWG shows. I haven't been to a show for a long time.

Survivor Series was ok. Amazing to watch how much Ronda Rousey has regressed though. Her debut was so amazing that I think everyone expected her to go on and do incredible things after that but I'm not sure she's had a match as good as that since.

Also, every time I see Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns now I just think they're too big to be in wrestling now. They should be going off and being massive movie stars, which they both could easily be. They're just streets above everyone else and only really Bianca Belair is likely to come close.

With her being a gamer/anime geek who is a legit badass, I really wanted to like her. But I just haven't been able to get excited about her. I think it's because they tried to make her into a female Piper for some inexplicable reason (at least that I'm aware of). They also dropped that MMA stable for no apparent reason.

For sure! I was sitting right by Lillian. I did see a couple signs confiscated, but in general everyone was chill and having a great time. They were even cool with me taking pics by the ring after the show. One thing I didn't realize is how loud the crowd is, especially the girls/women who screech at the top of their lungs. I would recommend earplugs if you're ever that close in a city with a hot crowd.
