Executive order on guns

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
I curious to know what your reaction to this is:

Honestly, watch it, and please tell me in what ways he is wrong?

He sums up the standoff on this issue quite nicely. Regulation doesn't mean revocation. However, it is pretty obvious that those who absolutely believe in the totally unregulated right to own any gun they choose will never move even an inch on the issue due to their ongoing infatuation with fear of their own government. Consequently, everything else becomes secondary, including 30,000 gun deaths a year. The only way this issue gets decided is through judicial review should, in fact, legislation (or executive action) be enacted to regulate gun ownership in some fashion.

Conspiracy...
Guns may kill 12,000 per year, but Hospitals kill 195,000.

There are only 690,000 doctors in the United States, and between 150-200 million gun owners in the United States, is it not statistically true that doctors are more dangerous than gun owners?

Using this same standard, should we ban hospitals?

What about 32,000 deaths from automotive accidents, should we ban cars?

In Summer 2012 alone 137,000 people drowned, should we ban swimming?

Stewart is a comedian, propagandist. If you give them an inch they will take away all weapons.
They don't have the constitutional rights to regulate weapons. Shall not be infringed.

Do you know about your country's history, right before WW2 where they rounded up everyone that owned personal firearms and if they didn't give them up, your government shot them?

:ohsnap::goodpost::clap: well done in setting things straight and restablishing the truth. Johan doesn't remember or perhaps pretends that he doesn't know what was the milice nor who was Laval, Bousquet and what was the LVF or the Charlemagne Division which were the worst collaborationnists ever. But this is the attitude you get from a socialist, always ignoring and twisting the truth. Just look at the douchebag president leading France , it says enough of who he is and how "patriotic" he is. Johan of course voted for this :douchebag:

Will, please see Jaggers answer, quoted below. He actually responds to a discussion. You seek to kill discussion.

The standoff is the part that I just can't understand. So absolutely everything is up for debate EXCEPT gun ownership? No matter what happens, under absolutely NO circumstances, should gun ownership be part of the discussion surrounding gun violence?

Yeah. Brilliant.

I must interject here for a moment.....

Jagger, with all due respect, how can you and others possibly have compassion for the 30,000 people killed by firearms, yet not have any compassion for the millions of babies aborted in America every year? Yet, you have a very strong belief in doing away with the death penalty.

To me, it seems like you are "ok" with the killing of innocent babies, but you're not okay with somebody killing kindergarteners and criminals. Why and how is that possible?

A baby at 16 weeks...

Development at 16 Weeks
The baby now measures about 4.3 to 4.6 inches and weighs about 3.5 ounces. You should be able to feel the top of your uterus about 3 inches below your belly button. The baby's eyes can blink and the heart and blood vessels are fully formed. The baby's fingers and toes have fingerprints.
