Well her story is inspiring, but it does not negate the fact that her music really isn't distinguishable(besides the language barrier) from the legion of other manufactured pop acts out there perpetrating mediocrity. She loses more points in that field because she doesn't make her own music or write her own lyrics...she only has a voice, which is a talent which doesn't require any creativity in itself. You either have it, or you don't. This makes her reasons for wanting to be a pop star dubious. She is not really expressing herself but is merely a mouthpiece.
I wouldn't be as vulgar as the guy before me, however I also wouldn't place her on a pedestal because of music. As far as modeling that's a different story. She may even be a nice person, but I would be surprised.
