Europeans, do you have extended family in the States?

I'm currently living in the states, but I have very close family living in Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Family reunions are effing expensive.

Maybe not racist no. But I cannot understand the carry on the tradition attitude from any race.
A lot of people who assume they are from a long line of a particular race can often find that not to be the case. A mate of mine found that he had a secret chinese relative in his family tree, it was covered up in less enlightened times.

Wow...a (relatively intelligent) response from you.

I know that many people have different blood in them than they are aware of, but I preffer to have a female who's got mostly the same makeup as me. Simple as that. I've fucked girls who aren't white. Of course. The first girl I had in HS was half Mexican. But I choose my aforementioned option to procreate with. I think the culture is the most beautiful on the planet; not better, but just the most beautiful,...to me.

BTW, you actually have friends in real life?

BS, you know I am Swedish, right? I told you that before, I think. Dad is 3/4 and 1/4 Danish. Mum is German/Hungarian/Czech.

That's a purely American way of thinking. No European would ever say that he or she is 1/4 this, 1/2 that, 1/16 something else, etc.

You are what your passport says you are. Since I have two nationalities & two passports (the Dutch & Belgian passports, to be more precise), I am Dutch & Belgian. I don't care if some of my ancestors came from Germany or France & very few other people from Europe do, unless we're talking about the history of our family (& not about ourselves).

Your passport probably says you're an American, so you are an American, just like those dark skinned neighbors of yours.

We do Skype, bung hole. We all travel across the Atlantic a lot too. But I drive a fuel efficient car. Does that make it okay?
Oooooo! Calm down ducky!

Very true. 100% agreement.

Then why do we call blacks African-American? That's the beauty of being American, you can be something else too.

Yes. Simply offer me the still beating heart of your first born infant child. . .

& don't think you can con me by sending me a lambs heart. I WILL NOT fall for that again!

Damn. I was hoping to send you the still beating heart of my first born adult child. I guess I'm out of luck.

I know what you mean, as I know people that refer to themselves as anglo-asian. Which has more to do with the way their culture differentiates from that of their more traditional parents. It was more in reference to all this "I'm a quarter german, a third irish" nonsense that some yanks bang on about. . .

Its more of a "politically correct" thing here. Something new comes along every 20 or 30 years.

Couldn't agree more. Part of being any nationality means you should have been born and raised there (educated), worked there, paid your taxes there and voted there along with any other contributions to that society. If you haven't done this you can't say because all my ancesters were German (or any other nationality) I'm German because you will probably bear little resemblance to Germans living in Germany, they'd probably hate Football, Hockey, Baseball and Basketball for starters and won't be celebrating on the 4th July or Thanksgiving etc. I also find it hard to understand when people say they wish to preserve their ethnic bloodlines yet choose to live 1000s of miles away in America (a nation of Immigrants) in what is essentially Native Indian land, they are the people whose long term roots lie in America :dunno:

It's American, you wouldn't understand. If you move to Africa and Africans asked you where you were from or your ethnicity, you would tell you're Dutch and belgian. Since my ancestors came from certain parts of Europe and aren't indigenous to this continent, I do the same. Does that make any sense to you? The fucking Mexicans in this country ALL wave their godamn flag.

Dude, do you ever get tired of being a complete ass? Nobody likes you here, you should just leave. You remind of this kid who used to sit at the cool kids table but nobody liked. You're lame, dude. And every time you bash America it just makes you look lamer. You're such a fucking nerd.

No it doesn't. . .& who made you the master of this place? How do you know that nobody likes me here?

I think your mixing up ethnicities with nationalities or we are not understanding the point you are trying to make. If Gordar had been born in Africa and was asked by the others what his ethnicity was (they wouldn't ask him where he was from as he would have been born there just as you are born in the states) he wouldn't say Dutch/Belgium but probably Fleming or Walloon or Salian Franks (I may not be entirely accurate). Even Germans and Swedes are not the ethnic groups but could be described as Geats or Svear (Suiones) depending on which Germanic tribe they descended from. I think these well defined ethnic roots became polluted many many centuries ago although the people may still have looked very similar after. :dunno:
