The saddest pt is when she was pregnant and her bf wouldn't defend her and she still did porn scenes...I think they are still together.

I did my first porn video 9 days after I turned 18. I can honestly say that not one time did I get taken advantage of or degraded. Actually I did get fucked over once a few years ago when after a scene was completed the director paid me $1300 less than the agreed amount because "my ass wasn't as big as they thought".

How you are treated is based entirely on how you carry yourself. I would imagine that this girl who I have never heard of by the way, dates losers and plays the victim in every aspect of her life.

I feel badly for girls who get preyed upon by the predators in the world, especially the porn world.

As far as the idiot who said "never date a porn star..." not all of us allow other people to treat us life shit. I guarantee that those girls would be no different in any other job or way of life, they just wouldn't make as much money lol

Don't believe everything you read from girls who leave porn. Many think they will be the next Jenna and many feel like they weren't big enough stars....so they get jilted and their ego's are shattered. Most of us have no self-esteem to begin with.

As far as "fucking a bunch of strangers without condoms" wake up douche bag. There are a handful of male porn stars so rarely are we fucking strangers. It's ten times safer to do porn than to be a single 20 something with an active sex life. When you meet a guy / girl at a bar do you know they've been tested in the last month? do you know if everyone that they fucked was also tested within the last 30 days? If you say yes you are a fucking liar.

If this was written by Shyla Stylez or someone of her star caliber I would pay more attention, but it's written by a girl I never heard of and if you're a "Star" I would know who you are.

ok that's my 2 cents

peace out

Post of the year material.

Isn't it high time we stop beating a dead horse with a dead horse. Why are people still acting so naive and brand new toward the people and on-the-job happenings in porn. The narrow-mindedness of some folk here is quite amazing.

Were you ever a drug addict? It looks like a lot of the people in the industry are addicts and that's why things like herpes, genital warts, gonnorrea run rampant--they make bad decisions and have low self esteem because drugs rule them.

I do see your point though. There seems to be a 3 or 4 tracks for the career of a pornstar but the 1st track (as described by this erin moore character) looks like the most common.

Wouldn't you say that you're an outlier though? You've been in the business for a decade. On top of that you're still doing mainstream work. Who else can we think of off the top of our head who does that? Shyla Stylez, maybe Ice La Fox.

Wouldn't you agree?

Respect that she did quit the industrie if it is true what she is saying. But one thing
I find a little bit odd:

My worst scene I have ever been through was the one I did when I was pregnant. That is going to be the hardest thing for me to get over. It makes me so mad that the father of my baby and ex Kris Slater would even support that and let me do it. He should have been a man and helped out!

There are more then one scenes on the net where she does things when she is pregnant.
So I find that kind of weird...

yes I had a drug problem back in 2002 and haven't touched it since. I had issues with meth and when I was using I ran across a LOT of porn people I knew who are no longer around because that drug ate them alive, literally.

I own up to my mistakes and no one is going to get me to do things like be punched in the face or spit on or anything else. ask around, every producer or male talent knows not to even try that shit with me. It's 100% about the respect you demand and let's be realistic, most of these girls have no self-respect and therefore have no clue what respect is.

They have low rates and do dp and anal scenes for what I wouldn't do a solo scene for. Not because I am established but because they don't give a shit or don't take a minute to educate themselves to find out what a good rate is. they want the quick and easy money...that's why so many producers will say "$1500 payroll or $900 same day pay" because these little idiots take the same day pay so they don't have to wait 2 weeks for their paycheck with taxes taken out lol The agencies are to blame as well. No one should be sent to a set without full knowledge of what the scene is, for whom and the pay. All good agencies make that very clear when it's booked.

These girls who cry about being in the porn business are nothing more than ashamed of themselves because they allowed people to treat them like trash and suddenly they are offended. So they take on the role of a victim and claim they were abused.

And denial? Me? How do you figure that one? I am as forthcoming about myself as any porn star out there so not sure what that comment was intended to say?????????

I think the moral of this story is: Hindsight is 20-20.

Erin got into porn for a reason (probably many), and quite simply paid more than what she paid for. I think most of us have worked jobs in which we've done things that (again, in hindsight) just wasn't worth the pay or the stress. In the end, we put ourselves in these positions (no pun intended), and we eventually work out way to better lives. It's when you start pointing the finger at everyone but yourself... it'll be hard for rational people to feel for any sob story you put out there.

The main difference between Mariah and Erin is that Mariah is at a point in her life and career that she can come to grips with her decisions as it pertains to her career. I'm sure there are regretable moments for Mariah just as Erin had, but she progressed past them. Are there people she could blame in the process, of course, but why? Learn and keep moving. Life is a lot like boxing: The main rule to remember is protect yourself at all times. When you can't, and you get put down... get back up and defend yourself.

Mariah has done nothing but answer for every bullet fired at her. She doesn't have to answer for anything, but she can and does. Show some appreciation... she's here, Erin isn't.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Whenever I read Mariah's posts, I'm always impressed with her candor and her sincerity. Even when I haven't agreed with her on an issue, I still have to give her props for shooting straight.

I didn't know who Erin Moore was until I realized that she was also known as Ruth Blackwell. And I only know that name because I remember some scenes where she did some of the absolute nastiest stuff I've ever seen. The scenes stuck out because she was pregnant while doing this weird stuff (like getting a smoothie mixed in her ass, ass-to-mouth, etc.). Some things you watch not because it's erotic, but more because it's like a car crash and you can't look away. But according to Erin/Ruth:
My worst scene I have ever been through was the one I did when I was pregnant. That is going to be the hardest thing for me to get over. It makes me so mad that the father of my baby and ex Kris Slater would even support that and let me do it. He should have been a man and helped out!

I find that statement rather amusing because just a few days ago on here a poster asked the guys on the board if they'd let their girlfriends sunbathe in the nude or topless. And it wasn't long before people started jumping on him for saying "let her". "What do you mean 'let her', you pig... you male chauvinist!" Yet here is a woman who has probably done a good thing in getting herself out of this industry, but who is still coming up short because she's yet to take responsibility for her own actions.

Unlike some here, I have a fairly libertarian view of porn. To me, it's pretty much like any other business. Like with any other business, there will be an offer and there will either be an acceptance or there will be a rejection of that offer. Once you've passed your 18th birthday, unless there is coercion, I don't buy into the excuse that "so & so let me" or "so & so made me". Whether you're a banker who misappropriated funds to pay for a drug habit or a porn star who did a gang bang while pregnant to pay for a drug habit, it's all on you. Over the years I've found that most people who claim they were "talked into" doing something were really just looking for an excuse to do it anyway. And my guess is, people like Mariah Milano would be successful and take responsibility for their actions in most any other business, while people like Erin Moore/Ruth Blackwell would be looking for excuses, no matter what other industry they went into. Especially as we get older, most of us figure out that the main person who has caused us the most issues throughout our lives... looks at us in the mirror every morning.

But best of luck to the former porn actress once known as Erin Moore/Ruth Blackwell. The only bit of advice that I can give her is, don't take any wooden nickels. But something tells me, she probably will... sooner or later, she will. Seemingly, that's just who she is. Mariah on the other hand, I kind of figure that if you even thought about sliding a wooden nickel past her, she might slap you. :D
