Actually, I got a different view from what she wrote ...
Have a little respect please. Comments like that seem to be the reason she left in the first place. With comments like that, it's no wonder she left.
Actually, I got a different view from what she wrote.
I think it was more like the "oh, if I only had a girl like you" loneliness en masse, that caused her to pull back.
At least that's what I got out of her statements saying she was seeking her own, spiritual journey away from the modeling industry.
She was a sweetheart who cared a lot for her fans.
Combine that with her extremely broad popularity**, I'm sure it got to her after awhile.
Really shows how deep of a person she was, how things affected her.
Imagine you see a great number of men lust, to the point they cannot see any content in their lives, which is virtually "envy" (of what they don't have)
Men who can't look anywhere else for happiness, and believe a single woman can bring it to them, unlike any other.
And then you are that woman, and you have partaken in a presentation that resulted in their lust.
It makes you wonder, spiritually, what your life has brought to the world, and reconsider your place.
That's what my view of her decision is, based on what she wrote.
Doesn't mean I remotely agree with it, I blame the men for their own pain and tunnelvision.
I'm a "you are responsible for yourself, your own actions, your own happiness" type of guy, so it's not her fault at all.
But a lot of "spiritual" texts sometimes try to put the "blame" on the woman, the temptation she creates.
Again, I blame the men for not limiting their lust, leaving the temptation where she left it, etc... (not surprising, all major "spiritual" texts have been written by men)
I believe in erotica, the free form of sexual pleasure, no inhibiting of it, but the responsibility and respect that must come with it.
She made her choice to change her role in life, and by the same values, I respect it.
Again, it wasn't the "take the cock baybee" non-sense (although still annoying, and can easily cause some OCSM to leave the board, agreed).
It was the heartaches and massive amount of desire to have a woman like her in men's lives that got to her.
At least that's what I believe she wrote about in her public message on the matter, when she left the industry.
I could be wrong though.
**SIDE NOTE: Even though she's not my preferred type, I have repeatedly theorized that she is about as close as you can get to perfection that appeals to most (if not nearly all) men. I have to admit every single one of her attributes, in both ample and moderation (depending on your viewpoint/preference), typically balanced well, and extremely well overall and as a whole.
